CHAPTER 20

EVERYONE from the Greyson Golden Pack growled dangerously at Bryson after hearing what he had said. He tried to kill Prince Lorenzo's mate. The Greyson Golden Pack wanted to kill Bryson for hurting Levi. And that made Levi smiled. It warms his heart.

Bryson Esposito is the Leader of Rebel Hunters and he's the one who tried to kill him that he ended in the hospital.

"I didn't know that you are in good terms with the strongest pack in the world. The Royal Pack." Ani Bryson.

Ngumiti lang si Levi and looked behind Bryson, all the Rogues and Rebel Hunters are with him. And behind Levi was Greyson Golden Pack.

"Who is he?" Lorenzo asked Levi.

"He's Bryson Esposito. The new Leader of Rebel Hunters. I didn't know that he's also commanding the Rogues now. How stupid of them to follow him." Ani Levi at tumawa na parang nang-aasar.

"You!" galit na dinuro ni Bryson si Levi. "You're supposed to be dead now!"

Tumaas lang naman ang kilay ni Levi at nagkibit ng balikat. He sheathed his katana. "Looks like I really need to take over my father's position." Aniya sa sarili saka napailing. He looked at Bryson. "How bold of you to attack the Royal Pack?"

Tumawa si Bryson. "Levi, baka nakakalimutan mo kung bakit ka na muntikang mamatay? You saved her but now I really wanted to look for her and," ngumisi si Bryson, "I want her and I wanted to marry her."

Pasimpleng nakahinga ng maluwang si Levi. Judging from Bryson's word, hindi nito alam kung nasaan si Sky. Looks like his father made Sky safe. And that made him feel at ease. But what Bryson said, marry my best friend? He wanted to puke.

But...humigpit ang hawak ni Levi sa katana at tumalim ang mata niya. "Over my dead body." Aniya. Hindi niya hahayaan na makuha ni Bryson ang kaibigan niya.

Levi looked at the Greyson Golden Pack. "This is personal."

Tumango si King Connor at Giovanni.

"We understand, son." Ani King Connor.

"Thank you, Your Majesty."

Hinawakan ni Lorenzo ang kamay ni Levi. "Is everything, okay?" he asked and looked at Bryson. He wanted to rip his throat.

Tumango si Levi. "Everything is fine, Renzo."

Lorenzo sighed. "I'm worried."

Levi smiled. "Don't be. I can do this." Tinapik niya ang kamay ni Lorenzo saka binitawan ang kamay nito.

"I wanted to puke!" nandidiring sabi ni Bryson. "I didn't expect that you will be with a man."

Levi rolled his eyes. "It's none of your business whom I wanted to be with. Bryson, I'm telling you." Tinignan niya ito sa mata, "don't ever touch Sky. I will hesitate to kill you. I'm letting you go now but next time that we will see each other again, I will kill you," may diing sabi niya.

"Sky is mine, Levi! She will never be yours!" galit na saad ni Bryson.

"Sky isn't mine, Bryson. But neither yours. Sky isn't belonged to anyone. She belonged to herself." Ani Levi.

His phone beeped so he took out her phone from his pocket.

'Sky is safe. Don't worry.'

It's a text from his Daddy Stefano.

Ngumiti si Levi. Ibinalik niya ang cellphone sa bulsa. "Bryson, I don't to fight with you. I don't want war. But if you want it, I will fight you until my last breath. Like what I have said, I will not hesitate to kill you or any of your men if you attack any pack here in Italy and any pack around the world." Aniya.

Bahagyang natawa si Bryson. "My father said, Stefano made you as his heir. You will inherit his position. I already saw you fight and kill my comrades. You are skilled and everyone, especially the rogues feared you."

Levi crossed his arms. "They should be."

"But I'm not scared of you, Levi. I'm here to only say this to you. Sky is mine and she will be mine. Kung kailangan kong patayin ang lahat ng mga makikialam gagawin ko!" seryosong sabi ni Bryson.

Tumango si Levi. "Okay. Paunahan na lang tayo kung sino ang makakahanap sa kaniya." Kinuha niya ang cellphone sa bulsa saka nagpadala ng mensahe sa ama. 'Dad, please send our men to protect Sky. Bryson is looking for her.'

'Leave it to me, son.'

Levi smiled but when he looked at Bryson, his expression became cold and indifferent. "Leave now. As I was saying, paunahan na lang tayong makahanap sa kaniya."

Ngumisi si Bryson. "She's your woman. Aren't you afraid that I might do something to her?"

Levi smiled coldly. Though naiinis na siya dahil sinasabi nitong babae niya si Sky. Sky is just his best friend na itinuring na niyang nakakabata niyang kapatid. "No, because I know that you won't find her."

Tumawa lang si Bryson. "Levi, even you told me not to attack any pack, I won't promise that I won't do it."

"Let's go." Ani sa mga kasamahan nito.

Umalis na ang mga ito,

Kumuyo ang kamay ni Levi. Napabuga siya ng hangin at tumingin kay Lorenzo. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, Renzo. But I need to go back now. I need to go home. I need to take over my father's position. I need to protect her."

"Who's she?" tanong ni Lorenzo. "She seems important to you." Kumunot ang nuo niya.

Levi sighed when he saw the hurt expression of Lorenzo. Hinawakan niya ang kamay ni Lorenzo saka ito hinila palayo sa mga kasamahan nila. "Renzo, listen to me. Sky is my best friend and I treated her as my sister. I don't want anything bad happen to her. Hindi 'yon makakaya ng konsensiya ko."

Nag-iwas ng tingin si Lorenzo. "I'm jealous. She seems more important than me."

Napangiti si Levi dahil halata ngang nagseselos si Lorenzo. Napailing na lang siya saka sinapo ang mukha nito. "Huwag kang magselos. Sky is just a friend. I like you more."

Lorenzo looked at Levi. "Really?"

Tumango si Levi. "Yeah. So," pinisil niya ang pisngi ni Lorenzo, "don't be jealous."

Umiling si Lorenzo. "I can't help it, Amore mio."

Levi sighed. "I wanted you to meet her but it's impossible to happen because Sky knew that I am dead. I will protect her secretly."

Humugot ng malalim na hininga si Lorenzo. He could feel Levi's determination to protect Sky. Hindi naman niya ito pwedeng pigilan. At isa pa, may responsibilidad rin ito katulad niya. Hinigpitan niya ang hawak sa kamay ni Levi. "Kailan ka dadalaw rito?" tanong niya.

Levi shook his head. "Hindi ko alam. But I will try to visit every month."

"Okay. Be careful out there," sabi ni Lorenzo habang pilit ang ngiti sa kaniyang labi.

Levi noticed Lorenzo's force smile but opt to ignore it.

Kinuha niya ang cellphone saka tinawagan ang Daddy Stefano niya na kaagad naman nitong sinagot ang tawag niya.

"Son, need something?" tanong ng ama.

"Dad, please send someone to fetch me here in Greyson Golden Pack. I'm coming back."
