FOR the straight whole week, Lorenzo stayed in the hospital to keep an eye on his mate who was still unconscious until now. Pero maayos na ang kalagayan nito kaya lang nasa ICU pa rin ito at siya ang doktor ni Levi. He asked for it from Dr. Reed na mukhang nagtaka pa noong una pero pinayagan rin siya.

Hindi umuwi si Lorenzo sa pack house. Sinasabi na lang niya sa kaniyang ina sa tuwing tinatanong nito kung uuwi ba siya na may pasyente siya, which is true, pero ang hindi lang nito alam ay mate niya ang pasyente niya.

Malalim na napabuntonghininga si Lorenzo. Nag-aalala siya sa mate niya. Levis is a werewolf. Hindi na siya magtataka kung may makapansin na may kakaiba rito dahil mabilis maghilom ang mga sugat ni Levi. He personally removed the bandage on Levi and he didn't let any nurse or attendant to take care of his mate.

To avoid suspicion, he was personally taking care of his mate. Wala na siyang pakialam kung ano ang sasabihin ng iba. Ang mahalaga sa kaniya ngayon ay ang mate niya.

Lorenzo is busy removing the last bandage on Levi's arm when he noticed the tattoo on Levi's arm. Kumunot ang nuo niya at tinignan ng mabuti ang tattoo sa braso nito. This is not a tattoo. He said to himself. It's a birthmark. Beautiful.

Ilang sandali pa niyang tinignan ang birthmark ni Levi. He was fascinated by Levi's birthmark. His birthmark is unique. Wala pa siyang nakikitang katulad ng birthmark nito. He smiled and check his mate. When he checked him and everything was okay, all his wound was already healed. It's time for Levi to be transfer to the recovery room.

After Levi was transferred to the recovery room, ang ama kaagad nito ang unang pumasok sa loob para tignan ang anak nito.

"How is he?" Stefano asked Prince Lorenzo.

Lorenzo smiled. "He's fine now, Sir. His wound was healed. He can wake up anytime." Aniya.

"Thank you, Your highness."

"Stop calling me 'your highness', Sir. You can call me by my name or you can call me Doc Lorenzo." Ani Lorenzo.

Tumango si Stefano saka umupo sa sofa na nasa loob ng private room na inuokopa ni Levi.

Huminga naman ng malalim si Lorenzo saka umupo rin sa sofa.

"Thank you for taking care of my son, Doc. Honestly, I don't know what to do if I lose him." Ani Stefano.

Ngumiti si Lorenzo. "Don't thank me, Sir. I'm just doing my job." And it's because he is my mate.

"Doc, aside from being a doctor, you're now the protector of werewolves."

Tumango si Lorenzo. "Yes."

"Then I will be shameless and ask you something," ani Stefano.

"Say it," Lorenzo said.

Humugot ng malalim na hininga si Stefano, sumulyap siya kay Levi bago ibinalik ang tingin kay Doc Lorenzo. "Levi is a skilled hunter. In Sicily, he almost wiped out the rebel hunters and rogues there. I know that I am being shameless to ask you if you could protect him, Doc Lorenzo. Levi is a werewolf but he is almost human because he didn't shift but good thing that he still has werewolf abilities."

"What?" nagulat si Lorenzo sa narinig. Tumingin siya kay Levi. He didn't shift. "Why he didn't shift?" he asked Stefano.

Stefano sighed heavily. "I don't know, Doc Lorenzo. He just didn't shift when he reached the age of shifting."

Kumunot ang nuo ni Lorenzo. Nagtataka siya. He never heard of it before. "But his scent is a werewolf." Aniya.

Umiling si Stefano. "Believe me, Doc. He really didn't shift. But enough with that."
