CHAPTER 9

LEVI was startled when he woke up the next morning and saw a giant white wolf in his bed instead of Lorenzo. Kaagad naman siyang kumalma dahil alam niyang si Lorenzo ang puting lobo. Nagmulat ng mata ang lobo, and he snuggled closer to him. Ngumiti siya saka hinaplos ang ulo nito.

How would it be nice if he has also a wolf?

He sighed and continued caressing the wolf's head, which is Lorenzo. Hanggang sa hindi niya namalayan na muli siyang nakatulog.

Nang magising siya, wala na si Lorenzo sa tabi niya. Kumunot ang nuo niya. He used his sense of smell to locate Lorenzo. Napailing na lang siya nang malamang nasa kusina ito. And he's cooking breakfast.

Bumangon si Levi at nagtungo ng banyo. He did his morning routine and took a bath afterwards. Nakatapis lang siya ng tuwalya na lumabas ng banyo. Kumuha siya ng sweat pants at t-shirt sa cabinet saka nagbihis.

Lumabas siya ng kwarto at bumaba sa kusina. He chuckled when he thought of something after seeing Lorenzo's in front of the stove. He looks like a house husband. He said to himself and chuckled.

"My Amore mio looks happy. Would you mind if you tell me why are you happy?" tanong ni Lorenzo.

Levi smiled. "You looked like a house husband than to say that you are my suitor."

Lorenzo chuckled. "Whatever float your boats, Amore mio," he said and winked, and faced the stove again.

Naglakad palapit si Levi kay Lorenzo at tinignan ang niluluto nito. "Hmm... smells good."

Lorenzo looked at Levi. He kissed Levi's temple because he's too close to him. And he could smell his chocolate and forest scent closely. Hanggang sa hindi niya napigilan ang sarili na iwan ang niluluto saka yakapin si Levi.

"Renzo... w-what are you doing?"

"Let me hug you, Amore mio. Or I'll be crazy." Lorenzo buried his face on Levi's nape. Humugot siya ng hininga at makalipas ang ilang Segundo, pinakawalan niya si Levi saka bumalik sa niluluto.

Napangiti na lang si Levi saka napailing. Lorenzo is making Waffle Sandwich, it was served it with some crisp, juicy sweet apples. Lorenzo also added raisins and nuts to the filling of the waffle sandwich for sweetness and crunch.

Tumingin si Levi sa mesa. Nakita niyang may dalawa pang putahe na naroon. It's Ham and Swiss Omelet and Stuffed Ham and Egg Bread. After he made the Waffle Sandwich, he also made the Italian Cloud Egg mixed with parmesan cheese, fresh basil, chopped oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, pepper, Italian seasoning and salt.

"Ahmm, Renzo, I think your Ham and Swiss Omelet is delicious. Can I taste it?"

Lorenzo chuckled. "Para sa 'yo naman talaga yan."

"Uh? Pero parang ang dami naman yatang pagkain." Nagtatakang sabi ni Levi.

"Of course," Lorenzo winked, "for my Amore mio. You need to gain weight. You're too skinny."

Itinaas ni Levi ang kamao. Tumatawang bumalik lang naman si Lorenzo sa paggawa ng Italian Cloud Egg. Patapos na rin naman siya. Mabilis ang galaw niya para makakain na sila ni Levi.

And he's planning of something.

Habang kumakain sila, Lorenzo asked Levi. "Amore mio, can we go out?"

Tumaas ang kilay ni Levi. "Out? What do you mean?" nagtatakang tanong niya at kinuha ang Blueberry Banana Avocado Smoothie na gawa ni Lorenzo at uminom.

"Can we go out? Like a date?"

Levi spurted the smoothie because he wasn't ready for Lorenzo's question. Good thing that he didn't choke it.

"What are you doing, Amore mio?" Napailing si Lorenzo at inabutan ng tissue si Levi na kaagad naman nitong kinuha.

Tinignan ng masama ni Levi si Lorenzo ng masama. "And who do you think who is fault it is?!"

"And who's the one drinking?" kalmadong tanong ni Lorenzo.

Levi tsked. Inirapan niya si Lorenzo saka nagpatuloy sa pag-inom ng smoothie. Sayang naman kung aayawan na niya. Masarap pa naman. Tsaka gawa ito ng mate niya — natigilan siya bigla at napatingin kay Lorenzo na nakatingin sa kaniya. "What?"

"So, date?" kinakabahang tanong ni Lorenzo.

Nagkibit ng balikat si Levi. "Sure."

Lorenzo grinned.

Levi sighed. "This will be my first date." He sighed again. "So, pity."

Kumunot ang nuo ni Lorenzo. "What?"

Umiling si Levi habang kumakain. Nilunok niya muna ang pagkain na nasa bunganga bago nagsalita. "I said it was a pity because I never date before. If I have known that I was mated to the same gender as me. I would date many women before."

Lorenzo's face darkened and his eyes glowed — meaning his wolf took over. "Don't say that in front of my face!"

Levi blinked. Lorenzo's voice became deeper. Imbes na matakot si Levi, natawa siya. "Nice to meet you Lorenzo's wolf. Well, about saying earlier of dating women. Don't worry," he shrugged, "I won't do it. And hey, I'm not going to date anyone except you."

Bumalik ang pagiging kulay asul ng mata ni Lorenzo. Humugot ng malalim na hininga si Lorenzo. "I'm sorry. My wolf took over."

Umiling si Levi. "It's okay. Though I think he doesn't like me. He didn't talk to me."

"If he took over my body for two long, he might be pinning you now on the wall and kissing you." Nakangising sabi Lorenzo.

Nanlaki ang mata ni Levi.

"So, don't tell me again that my wolf doesn't like you. He loves you, Amore mio. He's just controlling himself not to mark you. You see, we've been waiting for you for ten years and now that you are here," Lorenzo's eyes were flashed with desire, "all he wants was to mark you. And it's the same as me. I wanted to mark you, kiss you and," Lorenzo's licked his lips, "you know what I mean," he said smirking.

Nanlaki ang mata ni Levi nang ma-realize kung ano ang ibig sabihin ni Lorenzo. "No! Not gonna happen!"

Lorenzo chuckled. "Don't worry, I won't do it without your consent except if you provoke me. I will snap once I provoke so I trained myself to become calm all the time."

"How to provoke you?" tanong ni Levi.

"Huwag mo ng alamin, Amore mio. Just don't try to provoke me because if that happen, I might do something to you. Something that you might not like. Okay?"

Tumango si Levi. "Okay," he said and stared at Lorenzo. "You're handsome."

"You're a beautiful man."

Napailing si Levi. "I know, right?"

"And I want to kiss you."

Levi showed his middle finger. "Eat now if you want to continue the date."

Lorenzo smiled. My Amore mio.
