HUMUGOT ng malalim na hininga si Giovanni habang inaayos ang suot na tuxedo. Noon, hindi niya masyadong inisip ang tungkol rito pero ngayon ay mangyayari na. Kahit sana ayaw niya, kailangan niyang tanggapin dahil ito ang responsibilidad niya. Siya ang tagapagmana ng kaniyang ama.

Siya ang susunod na maging hari ng mga lobo. It's a title but all the werewolves are his responsibilities. A heavy responsibility that will pass down to him. He sighed and looked himself into the mirror.

Ipinikit niya ang mata. I can do this.

A knocked on the door made him open his eyes and looked at the door. "Come in. It's open." Aniya.

Bumukas ang pinto at pumasok ang kaniyang ama.

"Dad."

His father smiled to him.

"Are you nervous?" tanong nito at hindi niya alam kung inaasar ba siya nito o ano.

"Dad, I'm nervous." Pag-amin niya.

"Were you like this before, Dad?" Giovanni asked.

Tumango si Giovanni. "Thank you, Dad." Aniya saka ngumiti. Kapagkuwan may naalala siya, "Dad, will I be like you?"

"Huh?"

"Makikilala ko rin kaya ang mate ko pagkalipas ng isang daang taon?" anjya.

"Giovanni." Connor's voice held a warning.

Giovanni chuckled. "Pampatanggal lang ng nerbiyos, Dad."

Napailing si Connor saka inayos ang suot ni Giovanni na necktie. "If you're ready, let's go. Everyone is waiting for you."

Tumango si Giovanni.

"Just remember, Giovanni. You are my son. Whatever will happen, I will be always behind you and support you. Don't mind others and focused on leading your people. Always be confident and trust yourself. And the most important thing that I want to say, Giovanni, now that I will pass the throne to you, don't let other look down at you and don't let them belittle your capability." Seryosong saad ni King Connor.

Tumango si Giovanni. "Yes, Your Majesty."

Ngumiti si King Connor at lumabas ng kwarto ng anak.

Sumunod naman si Giovanni na lumabas. Natigilan siya ng makita niya si Lorenzo sa labas ng kwarto niya at may hawak itong red royalty shawl at isinuot nito 'yon sa kaniya.

"Nervous?"

Tumango si Giovanni.

Lorenzo chuckled. Inakbayan niya ang kakambal. "You can do it."

"Thanks." Nagtaka si Giovanni kapagkuwan, "hindi ba dapat kasama ka ngayon ni Levi at Vin?"

"I hope..." Lorenzo sighed, "but Levi needed to make preparations. Vin is with Levi's parents. And remember? He is the Highest Leader of Wolf Hunters Organization and he needed to pledge to you as an ally. And not to mention, all Alphas and Lunas are here to witness your ceremony. He needed also to make sure that no one will make trouble here." Ani Lorenzo.

"That's good."

Giovanni went to the hall.

Nasa itaas si Giovanni habang pumunta ang kakambal niya sa gilid. Nasa platform na ang kaniyang ama at ina. Nasa balcony sila kung saan ay nakikita sila ng lahat.

Giovanni saw Dr. Reed went to the platform. "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, Alphas, Lunas and my fellow council. Tonight, we will all witnessed the ceremony where the heir will accept his responsibility as the new King of Werewolves. The long-time reign will end and the new reign will begin. Let us all welcome our king, His Majesty, King Connor Greyson." Dr. Reed announced.

Everyone clapped their hands.

King Connor raised his hand and everyone became silent.

So much power. Ani Giovanni.

"Thank you for coming." The King's voice boomed the place. It's held with so much authority and power. "My reign has finished and it's time for me to step down and pass the throne to the new generation, to my heir and my son, Giovanni. I, Connor Greyson, passing the throne as the King of Werewolves to my son, Giovanni Greyson, as the new King of Werewolves."

Lorenzo got the knife placed on the white fabric from Rocco and the orb crown from Beta Alessandro and walked towards his father. The Queen hold the orb crown and smiled at Giovanni.

It's time. Giovanni said to his mind.

"Giovanni." His father called him with so much authority in his voice.

Naglakad palapit si Giovanni sa ama at naramdaman niya na natuon sa kaniya ang atensiyon ng mga bisita nila.

"Do you, Giovanni Greyson, accept your title as the new king of werewolves and lead your people?"

Iniluhod ni Giovanni ang isang tuhod at itinapat niya ang palad sa tapat ng kaniyang puso. "I, Giovanni Greyson, accept my title and my responsibility as the King of all Werewolves. I vow to protect them and lead them. As the king, I will do everything to make my people live in peaceful life."

A moment later, Giovanni felt the orb crown being place on his head.

"It's time for the power of transfer." Dr. Reed announced.

"Rise, Giovanni." Ani ng kaniyang ama.

Tumayo si Giovanni.

Connor picked the knife and cut his palm.

Giovanni did the same.

Connor and Giovanni joined their hands together.

Giovanni felt the power being pass to him. He accepted it with all his heart and closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes, his eyes glowed.

Ngumiti si Connor at tumingin sa lahat.

"I'll give you your new king! The King of Werewolves!"

Everyone dropped on their knees and placed their hand above their chest as a symbol of their loyalty.

"I, Levi Fontana, the Leader of Wolf Hunters Organization, pledge my loyalty to you, King Giovanni!"

"We pledge our loyalty to you, King Giovanni!"

"Rise." Giovanni said. His voice was held with so much authority, just like his father.

Everyone stood and raised their fist. "Long live the king!"

"Long live the king!"
