I wake up to the smell of food cooking. I get out of bed and stretch. I leave my room and walk downstairs. "Good morning!" I was greeted. "Morning babies." I walk into the kitchen. "Morning mom!" My only daughter Fuyumi greets. "Morning sweetie." I kiss her cheek. She smiles. "Something smells good." "Breakfast is almost ready." "Don't be late for work." I tell her. "I won't I promise." I wash my hands. "Where's your father?" I ask. "Daddy had an emergency. He said he may be home late." I nod as I open the fridge. "He's too stubborn to retire as the number one hero." I say, grabbing the orange juice. I walk out. I start pouring juice in everyone's glasses. "What did I say about technology at the family table?" I scold, not really paying attention. "Sorry." They apologize, putting their phones away. "I told them to put it away but they never listen." Fuyumi says as she puts food on the table. I help her before we sat down. We said a prayer before sitting down. I look around the table. Then it hit me. "Nastu oh my god you're home!" I get up and run, wrapping my arms around him. "She can be slow sometimes." I hear. "Touya!" I yell at my eldest. "When did you get home?" I ask as I kiss all over his face. "Moooooom come on. I'm too old for this." He whines embarrassed. "Are you saying you're too old for a mother's love?" I challenge, folding my arms. He got quiet. "Exactly." "I got home last night. I didn't want to wake you all." I hug him again, squeezing him. "Mom you're squeezing me!" He gasps. "My bad." I laugh. "I just miss you. We never see you now that you went off to college." I pout. "I know. I'll try to come home more often." "He's not coming home. He has a crush on a girl." Fuyumi gossips as I sit down. "I do not!" "Oh really?" I ask, eating. "I know these things Natsu." Natsuo turns bright red. "Fu stop teasing your brother. He's a tomato now." I laugh. "Mom!" He scolds. "It's true." Everyone nods. Fu gets up. She starts clearing the table. I get up. "I got it." "You sure?" "Yes. You cooked. And you better not be late for work Sensei." I take the plates out of her hands. She nods and walks off. "You too Jr." I tell my youngest Shoto as I kiss his head. He was back on his phone. I snatch his phone out of his hands. Shoto gets up and leaves to get his backpack. "You never give me any kisses." Touya pouts. "You told me you were too old for my kisses when you were eight." I remind him. I walk over to Touya and kiss his forehead. "Big baby." "Am not!" "Alright we're off! I'm driving Shoto to school." I put the plates down and give the phone back to Shoto. I hug them both. "Have a good day at school you two. And drive safely." I kiss their cheeks before they leave. "By mama!" "Alright I'm going over to dad's agency. I might be late tonight too." Touya announces as he gets up. He hugs me. "You better be safe. Both you and your father better come home in one piece. "You damn bunny." She laughs and her phone beeps. "Uh oh. Duty calls. I'll catch you around." And just like that she was gone. I walk upstairs to Natsuo's room. "Hey." I say, walking in after a knock. He didn't hear me. He was nose deep reading. "Natsu?" I call. I sit on his bed. "Natsuo!" I scream. He jumps. "Huh? Oh hey." "What're you reading that you're so deep in?" "It's a manga about this pro hero who married his wife for her quirk. He then abused his family especially his youngest son who is the perfect child, forcing him to surpass the number one hero. It's really depressing but It's really good. I love a good drama." I shake my head. "And you get that from me." Natsu was back to reading. I get up and walk out. I start tidying up the house. I wish everyone would understand I don't mind being his best friend and just that.

I wanna add that Shoto is called Jr. because he inherited fire and ice quirks from his parents🤧
