"Will I d-do that again?" She asked quietly as he grabbed a new wipe.
"Yes." He nodded, wiping down her forehead.
"A lot?" She questioned, swallowing thickly.
"Yes." He repeated. "What are you thinking?"

Nova stood in front of the open back door to Jenny's car, "I can't go with you. It's not safe for me to go with you."
"Get in the car, Nova." Jenny sighed. "In the back."
"I like her. Get in." Venom growled.
Seeing that as a sign Venom wasn't gonna eat Jenny, Nova got into the back seat and the brunette got into the drivers, starting I the car to go to the hospital. Nova slumped in the back seat, staring out of the window, too many thoughts running through her head.
"I'm out of control." She whispered.
Jenny glanced at her through the mirror, "Dan just needs to do another MRI."
"No MRI." Venom hissed.
"No. No. No MRI." Nova agreed.
"What? Why?" Jenny asked.
"Sound at 4,000 to 6,000 hertz is lethal." Venom explained.
"The sound frequency in the MRI is harmful for him." Nova told Jenny.
"What, so, sound is like his kryptonite?" Jenny quizzed.
"Not all sounds." Nova shook her head.
"And fire." Venom added.
"Fire. And fire." Nova said.
"He's talking to you?" Jenny questioned.
"Always." Nova grimaced. "Maybe if I wasn't so good at killing people, I wouldn't have him or I'd be dead which sounds wonderful right about now."
"Are you in pain?" Jenny asked.
"No. No, I don't feel anything, actually, apart from... I'm hungry all the time." Nova mumbled.
"And you feel sad, do you not, Nova, when you are with her?" Venom asked.
"Just shut the fuck up, mate." Nova muttered tiredly. "Get out of my head."
"You might not live to get another chance with her." Venom hummed.
Nova thought about his words, eyes widening as she caught Jenny's eyes in the mirror, "Jenny. I wanna say that whatever happens, that I'm happy for you and the life you made 'cause, by the look of this car, it's going well. I've missed you, too, by the way."
