Third person POV:

"Has anyone seen Momo?" Saori checked the surroundings. "He's not here."

As on command, Momo's screech fell of their ears. Following the direction of the noise, the four saw animal traps hanging from the trees.

Aang flew towards Momo's cage and lowered it. Saori and Sokka pushed the bars aside as the lemur jumped out with a fruit in his hands. Sitting on Saori's shoulder, he began to eat.

"Don't stain my cloths, Momo." Saori warned the lemur.

Sokka freed the other two animals stuck in the traps as they ran away.

"These are Fire Nation traps, you can tell from the metalwork." Sokka commented. "We better packup camp and get moving."

The four returned to the self-made camp and packed everything.

As Aang was about load the luggage on Appa, Sokka stopped him. "No flying this time."

"Why wouldn't we fly?" Aang asked.

"Think about it. Somehow prince Zuko and the Fire Nation keep finding us. It's because they spot Appa, he's just too noticable."

"What? Appa's not too noticable." Katara spoke.

"He's a gigantic fluffy monster with an arrow on his head, it's kinda hard to miss him." Sokka argued as Appa growled.

"Sokka's just jealous 'cuz he doesn't have an arrow." Aang comforted the bison.

"I know you all want to fly, but my instincts tell me to play it safe this time and walk." Sokka commented.

Saori already tired of the arguing played with Momo.

Aang grabbed Saori's arm and lightly pulled her towards the group. "Who knows? Walking might be fun!"

Time skip

"Walking stinks!" Aang exclaimed. "How do people go anywhere without a flying bison?"

"I don't know Aang, why don't you ask Sokka's instincts?"

"There they go again...." Saori thought.

Pulling out a random book, Saori began to read to herself as the other voices started to drain out.

She felt Momo land on her hat. "Hello Momo."

She lightly bumped into Katara. "Sorry, why did you stop..." She apologized.

"Run!" Sokka shouted as the four of them ran towards the opposite direction.

One of the firebenders shot fire infront of the gang. "We're cut off!" Sokka exclaimed.

"Sokka your shirt." Saori bended the water out her bag and extinguished the flames on the nonbender's shirt.

"If you let us go, we promise not to hurt you." Sokka spoke.

"What are you doing?!" Katara hissed to her brother.

"Bluffing.." Sokka whispered out.

One of the soldiers lost consciousness and fell. "Nice work Sokka, how'd you do that?" Aang asked.

"Uh..Instinct?"

"Look!" Katara pointed to a boy in the trees.

He jumped down and took out two soldiers. "Down you go."

"They're in the trees!" One of the soldiers alerted the others.

A few more people jumped out and attacked the soldiers.
