Chapter 11: New powers and the divide

Third person POV:

"There it is guys, the great divide." Aang spoke.

"Wow, I could stare at this forever.." Katara gasped.

"Okay, I've seen enough." Sokka turned around.

"How can you not be fascinated, Sokka? This is the largest canyon in the entire world." Katara spoke. "You too Saori, you cannot look any less interested."

"The spirit world is better." Saori shrugged. "It's just a heap of big rocks which I have seen multiple times."

"Hey! If you're looking for a canyon guide, I was here first!" A man shouted as he approached the gang.

"Ohhh, canyon guide." Katara cooed. "Sounds informative."

"Believe me, he's more than a tour guide, he's an earthbender." The man shouted. "The only way in and out the canyon is with his help, and he is taking my tribe across next."

"Calm down, we know you're next." Sokka spoke out.

"You wouldn't be calm if the Fire Nation destroyed your home and forced you to flee. My whole tribe has to walk thousands of miles to the capital city of Ba Sing Se."

"You're a refugee!" Katara exclaimed.

"Who would've known." Saori rolled her eyes.

A large group of people were walking towards them.

"Is that your tribe?" Katara asked.

"It most certainly isn't." The man growled. "That's the Zhang tribe. A bunch of low life thieves. They've been the enemy of my tribe for a hundred years."

Saori already cranky due to the lack if sleep, whispered to Sokka that she was leaving and handed him a kunai.

"Use it if I am needed." She whispered as the nonbender nodded.

Opening a portal, the sorcerer fell through and vanished.

Saori's POV:

I landed in front of my house and went inside, only to find a book on the table next to the door.

Picking it up I read the cover. It was another book Wan Shi had found for sorcery.

"Later.." I whispered. Walking into the bedroom, I took a cold shower, changed into lighter clothes and flopped onto the bed. Loosing consciousness the second my head touched to pillows.

Time skip

Third person POV:

Saori streched as she got out her bed, it had been a good 5 hours in the spirit world. Turning to a clock on the wall, it had only been 15 minutes in the natural world.

"Sokka hasn't used the kunai yet.." Saori spoke to herself. "The need to be wary of the canyon crawlers.."

Walking to the front door she saw the sorcery book.

"Might as well learn this.."

Teleporting to the same area she had practiced the sun beam, Saori sat down and began reading.

"Weaponry.. combined with sorcery." She smirked, her ego increasing. "Let us begin."

Halfway through the pages, Saori felt someone's presence behind her.

"Koh." She acknowledged not even turning around.

"What are you feeling?" Koh questioned.

"I am a god, Koh."
