If my skin didn't have a limit for stretching, I'm sure my jaw would've been on the floor by now.

I stared at Ramon in shock. His calm face suddenly twisted into a grin.

"What happened sis? Cat got your tongue?" He asked, clearly pleased to see the shock on my face. I was pretty sure his quick change in demeanor added to my surprise.

"B-but how?" I asked, "And besides, according to my nightmares you were dead."

"That is why a concept called rebirth was introduced, sister dearest," he replied sarcastically.

"You might wanna close that jaw, stretch it more and an elephant would fit in it," He teased, a smirk plastered on his face.

I quickly closed my mouth and glared at him,

"I still don't believe you, h-how did you figure it out? I don't have any memories yet you do."

"Well, I kinda remembered, it's... complicated," he answered.

"It can't be that complicated," I protested.

"I'll tell you when the time comes, not yet," his tone clearly said that his decision wasn't going to change.

"I have some questions," I told him, leaning against the wall on the side of the stairs.

"Shoot," he said with a shrug.

"I..." I hesitated for a moment.

"I saw a dream, well, it was more of a vision or a flashback I guess... anyway, I saw this dream where I was next to a woman and a man who was talking to two other men in front of him. The man had dark brown hair and olive tanned skin... Do you know who he might be?" I didn't want to reveal too much.

"It could've been anyone, but considering your description, it must have been dad, and I'm guessing mom was next to him as always?" He asked. I nodded in reply.

He gave a look of approval as we were once again surrounded in pin drop silence.

This time however, it felt quite awkward.

"How was it back then? I can't remember much so I wanna know, prove to me that you are really my 'long lost' brother and not some stalker." I asked.

"Well, we were a wealthy family, but mom never allowed us to have any slaves or servants. The only ones there were the guards and that was because it was absolutely necessary. Mom and dad believed that we should learn how to do our own work so that we'll be ready to face any challenges in life..." I nodded, taking in the information .

"...and as for your proof well I can't give you solid proof but... when I was shot I told you to run, you were wearing jewelry but you only wore a flower crown with violets, gardenias, bluebells and hyacinth and I was shot in the abdomen..." he replied.

I realized that all that he said was true. It was then that I realized that these dreams weren't hazy or easily forgotten like normal ones, I remembered every specific detail as if I'd actually lived through them.

I was about to ask another question when  loud rapping was heard against the door.

I looked at Ramon questioningly as he just shrugged.

I stood up from the stairs, walking to the door. Cautiously, I opened the door to come face to face with Arav.

I looked past him to see Lana a few steps away, her eyes red with and face somber.

Tears were building up in her eyes, nearly flowing down her face.

I looked at Arav only to see his face grim.
