"There you are! I've been looking for you everywhere!" Tsukishima leans over in front of me panting as I take a sip from my juice box.
"Oh, morning," I say and he looks at me confused.
"You're ok...?" He says and I tilt my head. I know exactly what he's talking about, but I'm going to pretend I don't just to make him forget it.
"Why wouldn't I be?" I say with fake confusion.
"After last night?" I shrug, throwing my juice box in the bin next to me.
"I told you I'm fine! Man you should really start trusting me more," I say lightly punching his shoulder as he continues to stare at me confused but I just smile.
"R-right..." he says and I fiddle with the ends of my hair. "Oh right! There's a firework festival on tomorrow night," he says and I huff.
"I already mentioned it to Rina, she's too scared to," I say disappointed and he hits my head lightly.
"Idiot don't you remember what I said? We can still go with small fry and Suzu," he says and I tap my chin.
"Oh yeah good point... we can go ask Arai now?" I say and I notice him grimace making me sigh. "You can't expect to get along with Arai if you never ever speak to him. Come on grumpy," without thinking, I grab his jumper sleeve and begin dragging him through school. As he walks behind me, he looks down at my grip and he smiles to himself, knowing that he's finally starting to get through to me. I drag Tsukishima into our class where Arai is seated, munching away and getting crumbs all over his desk and Tsukishima grimaces. "Arai," I say standing in front of his desk.
"Mornin-" He pauses mid sentence as he sees Tsukishima standing next to me, his mouth slightly open and full of food.
"Feel like going on another double date?" I say, making him choke on the food that was in his mouth while hitting his chest.
"Another one?! I guess you've forgotten how well the last one went?" He says making me roll my eyes, before I come up with an idea to convince Arai to come along.
"Well if that's the way you want to have it... Tsukishima and I will just go alone then," the two boys look at me with wide eyes as I cross my arms. "Who knows what'll happen while we're alone," I shrug and Arai abruptly stands up, making his chair fall backwards and drawing the attention to us.
"We'll come!" He says and I beam, clapping my hands.
"Yay! This'll be fun I'll text Suzu now!" I pull out my phone and Arai blinks.
"You already have her number?" He says and I nod, not looking up from my phone as I excitedly text her.
"Of course, aren't you glad we get along?" I say and he huffs.
"Not this close..." He grumbles but I ignore him.
"Perfect! Suzu is in so we'll meet you two tomorrow!" I say and Tsukishima taps my shoulder.
"I'm going to class now," he says and I nod waving as he does the same before leaving, and I take a seat at my desk.
"Are you sur-" I glare at Arai making him shut up.
"If you're going to say 'are you sure about this' I don't want to hear it. I'm a big girl Arai I can choose who I date by myself," I say and he smirks.
"So you're saying you want to date him?" My eyes widen as I clear my throat, stumbling over my words.
"W-well I mean... I wouldn't be opposed to it, but it's not like I want to!" He sighs, smiling softly.
"You have feelings for him don't you?" I bite my nails, looking at my lap before nodding slowly. "Then if he makes you happy... I'll try to see the good in him like you do," he says and I gasp, flinging my arms around his neck and squeezing him as he coughs.
