Chapter 4

3rd person's POV

It was the day of the exam.

People were running around, asking random questions right before their turn. Everyone was freaking out. A few even tried to have cheat sheets of the working mechanics of spacecraft only for it to get revealed in a complete body scan before the exam.

"Kaminari. You're gonna get expelled for it." Izuku nonchalantly says, pointing at the poorly stuffed paper inside Kaminari's pocket. It looked like he stuffed a whole ass book in there.

"Well, history is hard okay? Do you wanna learn and memorize all the brutal rituals performed by species? Hell, human history is just as hard. Why the fuck were y'all so stupid?"

"I ask myself the same every day," Izuku whispers to himself. He stealthily lets his black whips out which go around Kaminari and forcefully pulls out the papers from his pocket.

"Midoriya! Don't do that I need to pass the exam!"

"You can't risk your entire education just cause you're too lazy Kaminari." Izuku scolds him, making Kaminari huff out in response and look away.

"He's saying this for your good bro," Kirishima says, enthusiastically wrapping his arms around Kaminari's shoulders.

"I can't help it. Y'all are good at studies. I'm dumb." Kaminari mutters under his breath sadly. Staring at his shoes and rubbing them together.

"You're not dumb. Stop letting yourself think like that. You're awesome too! Like think about it, you are about to do your finals in U. A! Isn't that great?" Kirishima says, cheerfully.

Kaminari looks up to see Izuku with a smile, Hitoshi giving an approving nod whereas Todoroki and Katsuki stood awkwardly.

But it was okay! Kaminari felt encouraged and went back to his goofy self. "Damn right! I'm awesome! I won't let something like this exam ruin me!"

Just a few minutes before going into the examination hall, Kaminari starts asking them random questions to while away the time.

"Oh wait! I forgot that very old vehicle thing that humans used to go in. In this way, " Kaminari shows an awkward motion of cycling.

"You mean a bicycle?" Izuku questions with a confused tilt of his head. He sighs when he watched Kaminari clap his hands and cheer.

"It's not that old you know. I still have the one I used in my childhood days." Izuku mumbles while the others watch him with judging looks on their face.

Izuku looks up at them and immediately gets offended. "What? It's nice to use! Besides, I was a kid, I had no type of entertainment besides watching something on my phone."

The others look at him weirdly before sighing. Izuku groans loudly before smacking himself on the forehead.

Soon, it was time for the exam. "Group 94. Come inside." They all walk inside a huge room with people sitting up at high tables, looking creepy.

"Todoroki.. did you know your father would be here too?" Shinso whispers as they walk by, looking at Endeavour.

"Nope." Todoroki bluntly says, shaking his head.

"You will be assigned to the Voyager 32"

"Are you serious? Like THE Voyager 32?" Shinso questions, his eyes wide blown in awe.

"Yes." A robotic voice replies.

"But.. how's that possible? I thought Voyager 32 is still in beta testing. Hasn't it failed once already? Isn't that how All Might got his injury?" Izuku starts rambling, mostly to himself, but his teammates heard it loud and clear.

"Stop talking," Endeavour yells, making Izuku shut up almost immediately with a flinch.

Todoroki notices it and nudges Izuku's shoulder, "Don't listen to him. He's dumber than anybody else on this University campus." He whispers making Izuku snort. He knew Endeavour could never be termed dumb, but he appreciates Todoroki's effort.  

A robot leads the team into a hall, where they were provided with their space suits according to their departments and a few necessities like a first aid kit.

"First aid kit? Wouldn't we be back in half an hour at Max?" Kirishima questions, opening the first aid kit and taking a peek.

"It's a protocol." The robot explains before scurrying away.

"Pass it over here Kirishima," Todoroki says, immediately looking over all supplies.

"Shit Todoroki! I never realised you are a doctor.. more like studying to be a doctor but yeah." Kaminari exclaims, earning a tired look from Todoroki as he points to his completely white suit, indicating his department.

"Oh, Shinso and Bakugo are Explorers? You both are from the same department yet don't get along." Kirishima says, noticing their orange suits.

"How could we when he fucked my girlfriend." Katsuki grunts, strapping himself up angrily.

"Oh my god, Shinso you fucked Bakugo's girlfriend? That's brave of you dude." Shinso looks wearily and just shrugs it off not giving it much thought.

"Ooh! Midoriya is an engineer. Classy." Kaminari comments, Izuku snorts while zipping himself up, in a royal blue suit. Izuku sees the letter L near his chest, making him feel proud of himself and a little teary-eyed.

"Kirishima? You are from the communications department?"

Kirishima suddenly starts talking in Jupiterian, with a smirk, making Kaminari gasp and nod along with him. "You speak Jupiterian? Wow! We can now have conversations without others understanding."

"You are from Jupiter, Denki?" Shinso questions, turning around to find Kaminari pointing at the lightning bolt in his hair.

Jupiter-and is known to have a significant shape adorning their hair. It could be random or related to something they use or face in daily life.

"That makes us sworn enemies, Kaminari. I'm from Neptune." Shinso says, giving him a teasing smirk. Kaminari gasps before weakly punching Shinso's arms.

It was an ancestral thing. Neptune always had disputes with Jupiter. It is no longer in practice, but the planets would suddenly wage wars resulting in nothing but a common agreement most of the time.

"Alright. Group 94 get ready for departure." A robotic voice books through, as soon as they settle down.

All of them, sir down, a few of them worried and nervous while the others were happy and excited.

"Engine 1, check. Engine 2, check. Propellor 1, 2 and 3, check. We are ready for take-off." Izuku says, clicking on random buttons and levers above him.

"Taking off Voyager 32"
