3rd person's POV
Izuku is completely awestruck, he lets loose all three of them, watching Kaminari fall to his knees, sniffling hard.
Hate forgotten, Kirishima and Shinso rush over to Kaminari as soon as they were let down, the other three were a little hesitant, but end up going towards his anyways.
"Hey, Kami... What happened?" Kirishima softly whispers, his hands flying up to Kaminari's shoulders and holding them tenderly. His shoulders shook as pitiful sobs racked through them.
Nobody could hear them, they felt bad and guilty, especially Izuku and Katsuki to an extent, they thought it was their fault for whatever happened.
Kaminari suddenly lunges forward, getting a strong grip on Izuku's collar as he gives weak punches on Izuku's arms.
Izuku just stands there letting Kaminari hit him, it wasn't paining anyways, but Kaminari soon grew weaker and fell to his knees, crying his heart out.
"Hey, Kaminari, what happened?" Izuku questions this time, kneeling down infront of Kaminari as he forces him to look up.
The others let Izuku handle it, they knew the reason for Kaminari's sudden burst out was in some way Izuku, besides the leaders are always good at comforting.
"I-... It's all because of you! If only you didn't come now, we would have started for Hugene and probably even find liquid nitrogen in a couple hours!" Kaminari yells, accusingly pointing at Izuku.
"No you wouldn't have. You would have probably gotten yourself killed by now. Think sensibly Kaminari, that's literal hell that you wanna walk into.
Just a sudden intrusion would've gotten you killed." Izuku scolds, glaring at everybody at fault. They all look down in shame and anger.
"I needed to get home! You don't understand!" Kaminari yells back desperately, banging his fist against the floor.
"Not in a bag as a dead body!" Izuku screams louder, effectively shutting up Kaminari.
"I know that, but wouldn't it be better if we tried at least?" Kaminari questions in a softer tone, sniffling.
"No Kaminari, we would try less dangerous ways. There is still a high chance we could get something, but Hugene should always be our last choice." Izuku reasons, in an equally soft tone.
"It's just- That's faster!"
"And dangerous as fuck."
"But... I need to go home!" Kaminari tries, tears steadily running down his face.
"Why?" Katsuki harshly intervenes, shocking himself when Kaminari comes even louder.
"Because my mum could be dead!" Kaminari yells, pushing everyone away from him as his breath comes out in harsh puffs.
"Kaminari... Okay look, match with my breathing." Todoroki softly whispers, immediately getting to his knees and holding hands with him.
Izuku knew what it was. Kaminari was having a panic attack.
He knew Alice was on her way already, she had texted earlier, and the best thing they could all do is let Todoroki handle everything.
But, Izuku had to explain it to the others, who was already pissed at him, so he did the best solution he came up with.
He immobilized the other two and dragged them away.
"Fucking stop moving! Kaminari is having a panic attack and the only one that can help is Todoroki." Izuku hastily explains, struggling to hold his power and speak softer.
"I can help him too! You would never know!" Kirishima whisper screams, thankfully keeping his volume down.
"How do you spell 'panic attack'?" Katsuki suddenly asks, who was just a feet behind Izuku, observing the situation.
"I major in communications bastard, of course I would know." Kirishima hisses, suddenly turns around to Shinso, who had his eyes on Kaminari, watching his progressively calm down.
"I think it's better we leave them be." Shinso murmurs with a sigh. Kirishima hesitantly agrees, softly throwing his head back against the wall, taking deap breaths.
They all had a harsh day.
By the time Kaminari stops crying and Alice arrives, everyone understands (or tries to understand) the seriousness of the issue, hanging their heads down guiltily.
"I'm sorry I kind of manipulated you guys into it... I just really needed to go home and-" Kaminari starts explaining as soon as they get back to their rooms.
"You still didn't explain why." Katsuki demands, already loosing patience (he never had it to start with) but he had to control. Cause Izuku was there!
"I... Yeah. My mum has had a really bad chronic disease, she was diagnosed in last stage about 8 months ago. We weren't even sure she would make it to my finals. The medicines worked to an extent and now that she doesn't even know if I'm alive... What if-" Kaminari's voice trembles as he takes in a shaky breath.
"It's not gonna happen Kami. She would've known you are still there. It's okay..." Kirishima mumbles, pulling Kaminari into a tight hug, squeezing his shoulders.
"Thank you.. But I do know what I did was wrong and... I'm sorry I was just blinded by the desire to- to have a chance." Kaminari admits, sniffling as he apologises to Izuku.
Izuku knew, he can't trust them all blindly. They could be given a second chance but, they were going to face some serious consequences and be deprived off some basic rights like freedom for a while.
"Ba-bakugo- damn bro why is your name so hard to pronounce-," Izuku quickly mumbles to Katsuki who chuckles.
"You can call me Kacchan if you want." Katsuki casually adds, smiling cheekily.
Izuku softly blushes before continuing, "So Kacchan was being able to find a few potential planets which could have substances similar to Nitrogen because of their high soil content."
The others raise their eyebrow at the nickname but don't question it in the fear of getting extra punishments.
"We are splitting up." Izuku announces, observing the mixed reactions.
"Me and Kacchan are a team, Kirishima, Kaminari are a team and Todoroki and Shinso are a team, you will be assigned planets according to your quirk abilities soon, we start in two days." Izuku explains, then shoos them away.
