Andromeda Nebula [Bakudeku]

Chapter 2

3rd person's POV

Izuku skips back to his class with a huge smile on his face. He looks around to find his best friend, Ochako Uraraka, to let her know about the news.

"Izuku-kun!" Uraraka yells, running towards him and hugging him tightly. "Guess what Izuku-kun? I got into the same team as her! Wish me luck! I could finally get into a relationship!" Uraraka heartily sings, twirling with happiness.

"I have good news too! Why don't you take a guess?" Izuku questions, chuckling and returning the hug.

Uraraka hardly thinks before her eyes widen in surprise. "You got it, didn't you? The leader position? Oh my god, Izuku-kun! I'm so happy for you!" They both walk away together, discussing the exams.

Soon, every team is called inside a huge hall to have a small meeting with their homeroom teacher about the exams. They usually give small advice or tips that would help in overcoming general issues.

It isn't that important, it just helps the team members to get to know each other and their leaders.

When Uraraka's team was called, she happily walks away after giving Izuku a huge hug and a fist bump with him giving her good luck.

When they are done, Uraraka comes out with a wide smile and soft blush adorning her face. She was holding hands with Mina Ashido from the History department.

Izuku sends a teasing wink her way, making the brunette blush even harder and smile shyly.

When it was Izuku's team's turn, the hallway was nearly barren, with just six members left. All of them looked at each other and sighed in annoyance.

"Group 94. Mr Aizawa is waiting for you." The intercom blares, making Izuku flinch.

He could notice the spiky blond throw daggers at the purple-head as they walk by, purposefully knocking each other's shoulders.

"So, who's the leader?" They hear their homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shouta ask, his raven bangs almost covering his entire face.

Izuku hesitantly raises his hand, looking at others who slouch down in disinterest.

"Okay, where are you from?"

"Earth," Izuku answers, his voice weaker than ever. Bakugo clicks his tongue irritatedly while Todoroki sighs loudly, shaking his head in disappointment.

Izuku softly frowns at their reactions, he doesn't complain though, humans were always assumed to be stupid and illogical.

"Do you have anything to add?" Aizawa angrily questions Katsuki, who is startled by the sudden raise in his voice. He immediately shakes his head and looks away.

"What about you, Mr Todoroki?" The bi-haired male gives a similar response and mutters a sorry.

Aizawa then starts explaining the rules and regulations, Izuku was the only one actively listening while the others were zoning out most of the time.

"Mr Kaminari? Do you mind repeating what I just said?" Aizawa questions, glaring at the others.

"I don't know. Deez nuts?" Kaminari remarks sarcastically, making the redhead and purple-head snort, it was a centuries-old joke after all.

Aizawa sighs sharply, "You need to listen here Mr Kaminari. I'm sorry to say but your grades are in my hands and your behaviour is not acceptable. Do you not want to pass the exam?-" before Aizawa could continue, Kaminari cuts him off rudely.

"Oh please, shut up. We aren't going to pass the exam with a human leader anyway." He says, glaring at Izuku with annoyance.

Izuku cowers down at the intense stare.

Aizawa slams the textbook shut. "You are going to be working together for this assignment, whether you like it or not. You only have a single day left, better stop hating each other." With that Aizawa walks away, leaving the boys to themselves yet again.

"So um.." Izuku starts only to be cut off by someone clicking their tongue, he immediately shuts up, knowing he wasn't welcome in the team.

"So.. Bakugo.. how's your girlfriend?" The purple head asks smugly, sarcastically picking at his nails. The others could see smoke ooze out of Bakugo's ears.

"Shut the fuck up you mind-fuck." Bakugo yells, launching himself on the purple head.

Shinso yelps before fighting him off with the same vigour, both screaming profanities at each other. Kirishima and Todoroki try to pull them apart while Kaminari was chanting 'fight, fight, fight'

Izuku weakly tries to separate them, but his pleas die down because of the loud noise.

He immediately gets into a dominating stance with his hand in front of him, black coloured whip-like things fly out of his hand, grasping onto Bakugo and Shinso, successfully separating them and holding them hostage in mid-air.

He could hear Kaminari gasp out loud as Kirishima and Todoroki's jaws drop to the floor. Bakugo tries to fight it off before realising where the whips were coming from Izuku makes his eyes widen.

"You... You have a quirk?" Kaminari whispers, walking forward to touch them. "But.. I thought you were human.." He continues, his hands coming in contact with the black whips which felt like strong strings of fibre bound together.

Kirishima walks forward too, inspecting the whip, "That's so cool man! They look so awesome!" He exclaims. Izuku stays silent throughout.

Once Izuku was sure that Bakugo and Shinso wouldn't pounce on each other, he let them free, the whips getting sucked back into his wrists, much to the other's dismay as they groan. Todoroki didn't even get a chance to touch it!

"Were you fucking lying about your ethnicity? You are not from the earth you shitty broccoli." Bakugo yells, walking towards Izuku and pulling him up by his collar.

"I'm human you dimwit. I don't know why I have a quirk either." He says before giving a powerful kick to Bakugo's calf. Bakugo lets go of Izuku because of the pain, hissing.

"Now that we're a single team. You all better listen to me or I'm hanging you upside down mid-air." He threatens, the others, except for Bakugo who was still glaring at him, nods their heads furiously.
