3rd Person's POV
Izuku urges everyone to get into their places so they could drive away as soon as possible. Spending a second in space could make a huge difference on earth and they could never risk that, especially because of the uncertainty of the future.
What has happened to earth? Are their parents still alive? How worried they would have been seeing that their child has been technically lost in space..
Izuku couldn't imagine something bad happening to his mother. He could feel the tears stinging his eyes just at the mere thought of something happening to her.
How stupid had they been how stupid had he been to have forgotten the basic rule of space they learn in kindergarten?
Izuku sloppily wipes away his tears, rubbing them messily on his pants as he puts in the coordinates to their new destination.
Lyria. It was the planet that looked like it was competely made of metals. The planet itself shimmered brightly.
Izuku thought it looked too artificial to have a natural resource like nitrogen, yet he reminded himself of the saying, 'dont judge a book by its cover' it could be looking like a huge ball of metal, but they can't assume anything.
They had assumed Aeëtes to be a fluffy cotton candy, not a congested place filled with games and arcades.
After all, the first rule of space exploration is that, have a mindset that you know nothing, don't assume anything and just go with the flow.
They all had learnt this and Izuku had always remembered it.
Katsuki sits down on his seat with an unsettled face. He wasn't his usual self, anyone could say that, yet the others were all too immersed into their own issues and work, that they didn't realise how Katsuki looked and acted different.
Everyone was back in their spacesuits. They had also worn a casual outfit underneath the suit.
They all strap in their belts in silence, the ship slowly ignites, Izuku sighs loudly, watching the fuel meter twitch ever so slightly.
They have been running on really low fuel for a long time now. They haven't reached the dangerously low zone yet, but Izuku isn't used to driving a ship with this low fuel level, he's scared he might mess up.
Ever since the first leak, Izuku made it a routine to check the fuel tanks at least twice in an hour, he's probably a little exaggerating, yet he can't help but do it.
"Engine 1, check. Engine 2, check. Propellor 1, 2 and 3, check. We are ready for take off" Izuku mumbles, more to himself, because he knows there is no one listening from the other side.
They are not connected to earth either way. There is no necessity for him to verbally confirm anything, yet Izuku snorts when he imagines the face of his professor if she ever learnt that Izuku had slacked off during the verbal confirmation stage.
"Taking off Voyager 32" Izuku mutters underneath his breath.
Kaminari's small sob is heard as the ship takes off, unlike any other time before, everyone were devastated now.
Hearing Kaminari everyone's heart squeezes, Izuku somehow convinces himself that it was his fault. He couldn't have forgotten something as basic as that. How irresponsible of him.
The ship slowly enters the air space of Lyria, a beautiful smog completely covers their ship as they near.
Izuku announces through the microphone, getting connected to planet's space affairs headquaters. "This is Voyager 32, we are requesting to let us land on your plant. I repeat, this is Voyager 32 and we are requesting you to grant us permission to land on your planet."
They all dont expect a response like how it happened in Aeëtes, yet to their surprise, they recieve one.
"Welcome to our planet Voyager 32, you can land on the 12th space pad, hope you have a nice experience during your stay here." the voice seemed a little stiff and robotic.
Izuku assumed it was the translator as there is a very less chance people can understand english here, it must have been the in-built translator in their spaceship.
They all safely land in their designated pad and without further delay, they file out the ship and into the planet.
It looked completely different from outside. unlike the complete metallic look, the planet was actually completely green!
It had various trees and plants adoring the complete land area. There were a lot of weirdly shaped building too, yet trees were the majority in eyesight. Wherever you look, it was filled with trees.
"If only earth was this green, I could've breathed better" Katsuki scoffs, waking over and plugging his tablet onto the ground, checking levels.
"Since there is such a beautiful nature beneath the metal ball, I believe there is a high chance of finding liquid nitrogen." Shinso murmurs thoughtfully as he peeks in to see Katsuki's readings, only to recieve a glare in response.
"Oxygen levels are higher and purer than earth, you can breath pretty easily. Soil is actually less fertile, like below average fertile, I wonder how trees grow here, but other than that, everything else is good." Katsuki states, pulling the plug out of the ground and slowly opening his suit and freeing himself.
Everyone removes their own suits and gently tucks it back into the space ship.
"This air just feels so good to breathe!" Kirishima exclaims, deeply breathing in and sighing softly.
"It does right! I love this feeling so much I doubt I'll get used to breathing the normal oxygen in the spaceship again." Kaminari muses chuckling to himself.
Izuku surprisingly stays quiet, he hardly talks or reacts to anybody, but they all simply brush it off.
They all had been upset when they learnt 2 years had passed in earth, they just assumed Izuku was still going through it and left him alone.
"Welcome to Lyria, I believe you guys have arrived from Milky Way?" a voice is heard, Izuku swiftly turns around to find a beautiful blonde girl, yet they all know, it was a robot, of course.
