Chapter 23

3rd person's POV

"Does that mean all the robots here were once living?" Kaminari asks as soon as they were off.

The planet wasn't too far away and Izuku had it done on autopilot with the coordinates put in.

"Probably yeah." Alice mumbles, eating chips. She never knew she could digest food, and ever since she did, she's been tasting everything in the kitchen, nobody had the heart to stop her.

"Were you dead before an artificial heart was fixed or did your living soul give permission to it?"

"I don't know." Alice was surprisingly chill with it. Actually, they all were. It's as if they never knew she was a robot to start with.

"What if you were... killed?" Kirishima suddenly wonders, all eyes turn towards him.

"They wouldn't do that- come on." Izuku awkwardly chuckles, looking away as his laughter dies down.

"They tried to dismantle me Midoriya. Numerous times." Alice reminds him, frowning- but somehow, still eating.

"Well! It doesn't matter anymore! Even though there's a very very very less chance for that to be a possibility, let's be grateful that Alice is no longer there, she's safe now!" Izuku concludes the conversation, not letting anyone get back to that topic.

He had a bad feeling about it.

As soon as Kaminari and Kirishima were dropped, the ship took off again, to the planet which was right next, it literally took them a few minutes.

But when they were about to drop Todoroki and Shinso, Alice volunteered to join them.

"Stay safe, okay? Listen to what they both say- actually no, just listen to Todoroki and stay safe. Don't wander-" Izuku starts advising, scolding her incase she does something.

"Of course Midoriya, don't worry!" She happily skips off, vaguely registering whatever he said.

Katsuki watched in amusement. Alice had definitely been around more than Izuku has. She's a literal robot with more knowledge than anyone else on ship.

But Izuku was still worried. He valued their friendship so much he doesn't want her to get hurt.

"Yo broccoli, get ready to land." Katsuki calls out just a few minutes later, Izuku was down in the deck, checking if everything was alright, and of course checking the fuel tanks for leakage just in case.

"Yeah okay, Kacchan."

All of them had more or less 24 hourse in their assigned planet. They can still text though, which made Izuku feel less tensed about them.

Kaminari:
Yo mido, we got in safe and are looking around
Wow~ they have hot girls in here
Oh~ Kiri can speak with them? He sounds sexy

Izuku:
Don't look around Kaminari, you have work, be serious
Stop gushing about Kirishima in my chat.

Kaminari:
Bro
I can't be serious okay
I have a manufacturing defect

Izuku stops replying seeing no use in it. They land down safely, Izuku gets in contact with the planet's headquarters and lets them know the issue, they were really supportive and told them they would try their best to help.

Unfortunately the fuel in their planet was different, Izuku was worried it might ruin their engines so he ends up not taking the offer for a few litres of fuel.

Since oxygen levels were actually somewhat fine, unlike the planet Kirishima and Kaminari were pushed off to, they just wandered freely but took regular tests to make sure their oxygen level was okay.

Katsuki picks up the sand particles to get them tested. They walk around finding different colours and compounds of sand, collecting all of them.

The air had no nitrogen content at all. They were sure of it. The planet's air components were majorly consisted of Hydrogen and Helium. It made the planet really floaty.

Both the gases were made of a lesser density so they were just slipping around the entire place, Izuku even tried somersaults! But he ended up bonking his head against the ground.

Katsuki never indulged himself into any of the activities Izuku did, he just watched with a smile in amusement.

He knew their leader was less strict and not as scary as he seemed on the first day. But he didn't expect Izuku to be so cute, childish and carefree.

He loved it.

He was like that too, not caring much about the future but of course, he was worse when compared to Izuku. Izuku was just perfect.

Shinso:
Midoriya, we reached safely and even though I wanna sleep, Alice is too excited and Todoroki is dragging me with her
I don't think I can survive 24 hours with them

Izuku:
Don't worry Shinso, they aren't that intolerable

Shinso:
Don't you fucking dare tell that okay
They are
OH MY FUCKING GOD

Izuku:
They are WHAT

Shinso:
MIDORIYA HELP ME PLEASE
I CANNOT THIRD-WHEEL FOR 24 HOURS
OH MY GOD THEY ARE

Izuku:
I'll pray for your eyes Shinso, but please, get the fucking work done

"Oh Deku- watch out!" Katsuki yells, a little too late cause Izuku was already falling down.

He closes his eyes in embarrassment, waiting for his butt to hit against the ground, but Katsuki catches him.

Katsuki immediately reaches out and holds Izuku's waist, "Are you dumb or what? Look where you're walking Deku." Katsuki scolds him.

Before Izuku could reply, his eyes go down to his waist. Katsuki follows his gaze, then fixing it on his hands around Izuku's small waist.

He immediately lets go.

Izuku slips and falls down, "Kacchan what the fuck were you thinking?" Izuku whines when he gets up, softly rubbing his butt.

"I- uh... whatever." Katsuki mumbles with a blush, walking away, confusing Izuku.
It felt nice to hold him, but Katsuki didn't know why he felt all blushy just thinking about him.

With the previous embarrassment completely forgotten, Izuku starts draging Katsuki to different places, showing him around.

Katsuki doesn't react much, at times he blankly stares at Izuku. He wanted to know why Izuku made him feel so... different.
