Part 8

I looked down at my watch. It read 5:00. I totally forgot I had taken Angie's car and I had to pick her up. She does debate club after school until 5:30 so I should probably get going soon. I told myself I'll leave at 5:20 so I could spend more time with Danny and Paul. We all grabbed frozen yogurt and we talked about everything. School, friends, and why Danny died his hair blue. They both tried to one up each other, talking over one another and then playfully punching each other. I finished my yogurt and looked back at my watch. 5:20. I didn't want it to be over. "Something you're running late for?" Paul looked over at my watch. "I took my friends car and I have to pick her up from debate club. The crazy one I told you about?" I laughed, knowing Angie would kill me if she knew what I had just said.

"Ahhh" Both of them said. "She's really a great girl. She really, really, really like loves you guys. Like a lot." I explained. "She seems like a sweet girl. Angie right?" Danny's eyebrows knotted together. "Danny likes a girllll" Paul teased. "Shutup dude it's just I don't meet a lot of girls that are as hardcore as she sounds and she seems like she really cares." Me and Paul stopped and looked at him. "That was deep as hell" I pinched his shoulder. I think it's sweet he's not just swearing her off because she's a fan. "I could definitely set you two up but you know that she's going to be all over you at first, just show her you want to get to know her and she'll be normal again." I said, thinking about Angie's reaction when she meets him. "I have an idea!" I blurted out. "What?" they both asked. "It's strange but I think you'll be up for it." I then attempted an evil laugh, which didn't work out so good.
