Ace awoke the next morning feeling more groggy and grouchy than usual. He shuffled about as he opened his eyes, remembering where he was.

He growled and groaned as he sat up slowly and rubbed his eyes. Spinning around he looked across and once again saw the girl sat on the floor, back against the wall. Had she even slept?!

"You in a talking mood today?" He asked somewhat sarcastically.

The girl lifted her head slowly as she glared at him.

He rolled his eyes and ran his hand through his hair.

"Clearly not. Well good fucking morning sunshine!" He snapped sarcastically as leant back on the cot, letting his back rest against the wall.

"You know you should really talk?" He spoke quietly as he brought a knee up and rested his arm over it.

"Makes the time go quicker."

The girl continued to glare at him from her spot.

"You know that's probably the only reason you're still here right?" He asked.

"You tell them who you are, who beat you to shit and why you went for them and they should let you go."

Ace watched as the girl looked away as he wanted to know.

"What is it? Dickhead of a dad? Had enough of his daughter being some kind of failure, he like a few too many whiskeys?" Ace continued to push, eagerly watching the girl for any reactions.

But she gave nothing away as she continued to look down at the floor.

"Bad boyfriend? Didn't know how to make you feel good so hit you about a bit instead? Didn't like being told no?"

Again, Ace continued to watch her with heightened interest.

"You get mugged or something? Ran into a bad group? I know it weren't us." He grumbled as his mind went to the others. They better be getting his bail sorted soon.

Again, the girl refused to give anything away as Ace slowly stood up, walking over to his cell door, he leant his arms through and rested against it.

"If it's revenge you're needing I can help you out you know?" He offered.

The girl finally returned to look back up at him as he smiled slightly.

"So it is revenge you want?" He questioned as he brought his head forward.

"Tell me."

The girl pushed herself up off the floor as she walked over to her own cell door. She slowly brought her hand through the bars before flipping her hand over and holding her middle finger straight up at Ace.

"Oh now that's just rude." He snapped sarcastically as she turned away and sat down on the cot.

"Look, if you don't wanna tell a cop then fine, but at least tell me? I'm fucking dying over here." He groaned out as he brought a hand up, wrapping it around one of the bars.

The girl was silent but before Ace could speak up again the main door opened and an officer walked in.

Ace watched as he saw him slowly come closer, he was carrying two trays but that didn't intrigue Ace. What got his attention was the bruises around his eye and cheek.

He glanced back over to the girl as she turned her dagger firing eyes on the officer.

"Breakfast." He grumbled as he placed the trays down.

He slid the girls through the slot at the bottom of her door first, yet as he went to do Ace's, they watched as the girl kicked the tray back under.

It slid over to Ace's side as he slapped on a fake smile and looked up at the officer.
