Much to Ace's silent attempts to stop it, Eyeball had left Alex with Ace. He claimed he was going to go find food but he knew he had something else to search for too.

Vivian and John.

Eyeball lit a cigarette as he walked along the streets, waving Billy and Charlie down, he saw them both come over to him.

"Viv's gone and the baby too." Eyeball blurted out the moment they both by his side.

"What?"

"Where?"

Their questions came at the same time as Eyeball shrugged.

"Ace came back clearly drunk as high hell, woke up this morning and found this." He mumbled as he pulled out the note and let them both read it.

"Ace dead yet then?" Charlie asked as he thought over what Alex's reaction would be.

Eyeball shook his head. "Alex don't know yet, he ain't knowing either." He snapped at them slightly. "We find her, find out what Ace did and fix it."

Billy and Charlie nodded slowly.

"Surely if she's gone, do you really see her being the type to come to us with open arms?" Billy questioned.

Eyeball shrugged. "Don't know, main priority is making sure she's okay, same with the kid." He mumbled. "And hoping Ace didn't actually..." his voice trailed off as he tried to believe his best friend wasn't actually capable of doing such thoughts.

"Find the others and find Viv and the baby." Eyeball ordered as Billy and Charlie gave him one final nod before they both split up and walked off.

Eyeball finished his cigarette and chucked it loosely aside as he saw his younger brother and that best friend of his coming closer.

"Oi fuckface!" He shouted.

Ignoring the glares he got from both younger boys and anyone walking near, Eyeball came closer.

"You remember that girl with Ace the other day?" He asked in a somewhat quieter tone.

Chris and Gordie nodded slowly.

"You ain't seen her today have you? With a baby?"

Both boys looked confused but Eyeball just shook his head.

"I ain't got time to go into it, she's a mum, she's got a kid. Now have you fucking seen her today?"

They shook their heads slowly. Eyeball groaned slightly as he looked up and down the street.

"Why you looking for her?" Chris asked cautiously.

"Just am, look if you see her can you tell me?" Eyeball almost pleaded with his younger brother.

The pair picked up on his desperation as they nodded slowly.

"Great." Eyeball forced a smile as he reached his hand out to his brother.

Taking the pack of cigarettes that were lodged in the shoulder of his top, he ignored the glare Chris was giving him.

"They're mine you know?" He snapped at his older sibling.

"And now one of them is mine." Eyeball replied as he placed one in his mouth and lit it. "Just help me find the girl." He mumbled as he tossed Chris the pack and pushed through them.

Chris and Gordie watched as he walked off, determined and glancing everywhere for this girl and the baby.

"Sup losers!"

They turned and saw Teddy and Vern walking over to join them.

They mumbled a hey in response as Teddy looked between their still blank faces.

"The fuck is with you gays?" He questioned.

Chris waved his hand behind him. "Just bumped into my brother." He mumbled as he nodded forward and the four began to walk side by side down the street.

"What happened?" Teddy questioned.

"You remember that girl we saw with Ace the other day?" Chris asked.

Teddy and Vern nodded.

"Ace's girlfriend?" Vern asked.

Gordie shook his head. "She wasn't his girlfriend."

"Did you know she has a baby?" Vern said excitedly.

Chris and Gordie shook his comment off as Teddy jumped in.

"What about her anyway?"

"Eyeball's looking for her." Gordie mumbled.

"Seemed pretty desperate to find her too." Chris mumbled.

"She finally ran away from Ace?" Teddy scoffed out, he knew Ace couldn't keep a girl.

Vern pulled a confused face. "She wasn't running this morning?"

The others ignored his question as Chris shook his head slowly.

"She wasn't dating Ace remember!" He exclaimed.

Teddy scoffed. "Dating or not, she clearly found out what he was like and left."

"She only went towards the View..." Vern mumbled as he recalled his memory from that morning.

"Eyeball told us to tell him if we find her." Gordie mumbled as he glanced between Teddy and Chris.

Teddy shook his head. "Hell no, if she's leaving Ace then good for her!"

"She's not lost though?" Vern questioned as the others seemed too distracted to notice.

"Hey!" He finally shouted, gaining their attention as they turned to him expectantly.

"She's not lost? I saw her with a baby walking towards the View this morning?" Vern finally spoke to them.

The three glanced between each other.

"Why would she go to the View?" Gordie asked, pulling a disgusted face, he hated the people there.

"No way could Ace pull a girl from the View." Teddy scoffed out in disbelief as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"So why would she be going there with a baby?" Gordie asked as he looked up at Chris.

Chris shrugged in response. "Let's go tell Eyeball." He mumbled and took a step back in the direction his brother had gone.

Teddy quickly reached out and yanked him back. "Hell no!" He shouted. "If she's from there with a baby then she'll be fine!"

Chris looked between the others as they nodded slowly.

"He's got a point." Vern mumbled, agreeing with Teddy.

"We could always go find her?" Gordie questioned, the desire to have another group adventure rising in him. "Just to make sure she's okay."

The others all shared the same glance as small smiles crept onto their faces.

No more words were needed to be spoken as the four all took off happily walking in the direction of the View.
