Rematch

Instead of going straight over to the other cobras, Vivian huffed herself over to the bar. Demanding a bottle of whiskey she froze as it was placed in front of her.

She stared at it as her mind focused on the label. The liquid inside looked as though it was glowing colder copper.

"Starting early ain't you?"

Vivian shrugged as Eyeball sat down next to her.

"You know it might actually mean something that you two are wearing the same?" He gave her a small smile as he gently nudged her shoulder with his own.

Vivian shook her head. "It was a coincidence. One I shall make sure isn't repeated." She demanded it of herself.

Eyeball laughed and shook his head. "Don't think you're gonna have a choice there love. Universe is talking to you, are you gonna listen?"

Vivian scoffed as she turned to him. "Since when did you become so deep?"

Eyeball's mind turned to when Ace asked him the same question. A small smile came to his face as he leant closer to her.

"Since I saw the way he looks at you."

Before Vivian could respond he reached out and took the bottle. Getting up he walked back over to the cobras as Vivian watched him leave.

She watched as her brother gave her a small smile. The cobras had taken up 3 tables as they began their own little games.

Vivian seemed content on watching from a distance until she saw Billy walking over slowly, holding two cues.

"Wanna play? Jack would usually be my other half but someone broke his wrist." He added a small laugh.

Vivian couldn't help but laugh herself as she looked over at where Jack was sulking and shaking his head at her.

She turned back to Billy and nodded, hopping off the stool as she accepted the cue.

"Who we playing?" She asked as she walked over to the table and got her answer.

Ace and Charlie stood on the opposite side. Vivian's grip tightened on the cue as she saw Ace's do the same.

"Play nice Viv."

"Play nice Ace."

Alex and Eyeball's comments came out at the same time as they both received warning glares from Ace and Vivian.

The others seemed curious but shook it off as they had quite often witnessed Ace and Vivian snapping at each other.

Yet Ace and Vivian knew otherwise. They knew it was a comment on what had happened the day before.

"Here's hoping you're good love." Billy mumbled as they stepped back for Charlie to break.

Vivian nodded slowly, her eyes still focusing on Ace.

"I'm good when I'm not being sabotaged." She couldn't help but fire out her sarcastic words.

Ace scoffed as a small smirk came to his face. "Oh please, I let you win."

Vivian looked at him disgusted. "Bullshit! I won that game fair and square!"

Ace laughed and shook his head as they moved aside. Billy and Charlie gave each other a glance as Billy moved in to take a shot, something telling him Vivian was now going to be a little too occupied for the game.

"Oh you wish Vivvy baby! Look if it helps you sleep at night then fine, you won fair and square." Ace snapped, his sarcastic tone matching hers perfectly as he over exaggerated a wink and crossed his arms over his chest.

Vivian scowled at him. "You did not let me win." She snapped as she copied his pose, arms crossed over her chest.

Ace nodded slowly. "Hate to break it to you Vivvy baby, but I did."

Vivian continued to glare at him. "You didn't."

"Did."

"Didn't."

"Did."

"Didn't."

"Oh fucking hell! Can't you just accept I wanted you to have a win for once so I fucking let you!" Ace snapped as he relaxed his arms, why was she so argumentative?!

Unknown to them Alex and Eyeball moved closer as Alex raised a hand to cover Eyeball's eyes, Eyeball raising his own hand to cover Alex's.

"I don't need you to fucking let me win! I'm more than capable of winning by myself!" Vivian snapped back harshly as she angrily stepped closer to Ace.

"The fuck are you two doing?" Jack mumbled at Alex and Eyeball as the other cobras looked on at them confused.

"Trust us. We know where this leads." Eyeball mumbled as he was thankful of Alex's hand covering his eyes.

"You'd be wise to look away or cover your own eyes." Alex confirmed as he too was thankful of Eyeball's hand covering his eyes.

"Well I'm fucking sorry I was trying to be nice!" Ace snapped as Vivian pulled back in shock.

"Ace fucking Merrill, nice?! Someone call a fucking doctor!"

Ace scoffed as he glared down at her. "Call two! Maybe they can cure your bitch syndrome!"

Vivian faked a laugh. "Oh please, they'll be too busy prepping to remove the dick firmly attached to your head!"

Eyeball stifled a laugh as Alex nudged him, the pair stood trying not to giggle as they kept their hands over the other's eyes. Any moment now...

"Maybe they'll take the foot out of your arse while they're at it!" Ace snapped back.

"Well at least that way they'd know what to do when it came to removing the one up yours!"

The other cobras all began to try hiding their laughter as they stood watching the scene. Not to mention they found Alex and Eyeball's unusual reaction entertaining.

"You want fucking proof I let you win?!" Ace snapped as he moved closer to her.

They were toe to toe as Vivian continued to glare up at him. She looked down at the cues in their hands before back up into his deep dark eyes.

"Rematch." Ace challenged.

Vivian continued to scowl as she nodded slowly. "You're on cobra." She spat out as neither moved away.

"Has it happened yet?" Alex asked the other cobras surrounding him.

"What are you fucking waiting for?!" Vince snapped curiously.

Eyeball shook his head. "If you're asking that, it hasn't happened yet." He mumbled from behind Alex's hand.

"Back up Merrill." Vivian snapped as neither had moved away. "Anyone would think you want to kiss me, you're that close."

Ace scoffed as he looked her up and down. "Wouldn't that be a mistake if I did aye." He snarled out as the pair finally separated.

The others watched as they took over the game Billy and Charlie had started. Ace reset it as he turned to Vivian.

"You can break Vivvy baby." He snapped sarcastically.

Alex and Eyeball slowly lowered their hands as they looked on confused.

"I really thought it was gonna happen again..." Eyeball mumbled.

Alex nodded in agreement as they watched Vivian lean over to take the first. The harsh sound of the white ball breaking up the collection of balls almost echoed.

"As broken as Ace's nose would be if he tried to kiss me." She snapped as she straightened up and glared at him.

Ace laughed as he shook his head. Moving around he bent over to take a shot. Of course it went straight into the corner pocket.

"As in there as I'd rather be with any other girl but you." He snapped in retaliation.
