Vivian didn't stop till she reached Ace's house. Her emotions a mixture of rage, frustration and pure parental pain. She flung open the front door and stormed into the living room as Ace and the others were all lazing about drinking and smoking.

They all slunk back, seeing the look on her face.

"You're all fucking liars!" She shouted at each of them, mainly Eyeball and Ace.

"The fuck are you talking about?!" Ace snapped back as he got up and walked over to her.

"You all fucking told me it was just you that went and got John back right?" She was aiming to bit his head off and it seemed to be working.

Yet before he could reply she continued.

"Well a fat fucking load of good it's done! Because while I stupidly decided to spend the day with your annoying arse they fucking got him back!" She screamed as she felt the water works turn on in her eyes.

Ace's expression changed. He looked around at the others as they all shrugged slightly. Eyeball sighed as he stood up and came around to her, his arms wrapped around her waist as he pulled her into him. Vivian began softly crying into Eyeball's shoulder as he gently rubbed her back and mouthed at Ace that this should be him.

"How did he get him back?" Charlie asked confused. "I thought he was with Alex's bird?"

Vivian nodded into Eyeball as she turned to rest her cheek against him. "He was. They came at her with a load of knives, part of the fucking game apparently." She snapped as she glared at Ace.

"So we just go get him back again?" Billy asked, wondering what all the fuss was about.

"He's not just some fucking object!" Vivian snapped as she released Eyeball to flung herself around to face him. "He's not a fucking toy to just play pass the fucking parcel with!" She continued to shout as Billy tried to slink further back into the sofa.

Eyeball reached out and held onto her arms as he gently pulled her back into his hold. Billy gave him a small thankful look as Ace quietly turned and walked out the back. Vivian watched as he left, she looked up at Eyeball. Though he shook his head, he knew she wasn't going to listen.

Pulling from his grip she stormed after Ace. He was lighting a cigarette up outside as Vivian followed him out and shut the back door.

"You wanna fucking say why you happily took the credit?" She started.

"That weren't my fucking idea!" He defended himself. "Alex and Eyeball told you that it was me and wanted me to go along with it so I fucking did!" He bit back as he moved closer to her.

"I fucking hate you so much." She grumbled out as she crossed her arms.

Ace blew out more smoke as he moved closer to her. "So why the fuck you here?" He growled out, looking down at her. "You've fucking yelled at me already, now why the fuck are you still here if you hate me so much."

Vivian was silent as she glared up at him, taking a deep breath she felt her entire body unclench. Her arms dropped to her side.

"I don't know..." she let out a soft whimper.

Ace felt himself relax as he looked down at her. "You were really gonna give the kid up?" He asked quietly.

Vivian nodded slowly. "I'm hardly mum material. Not exactly got my own house or job either." She mumbled as she looked down at the floor.

Ace sighed as he shoved his cigarette back in his mouth and ran a hand through his hair. "Look, if it makes it better for you, you can come back."

Vivian looked up at him slowly and confused.

"The room." He mumbled as he nodded towards the house. "You and the kid can stay there."

"I thought you didn't like crying children?" She questioned.

Ace shrugged slightly. "Look if you're gonna promise not to keep running away all the time then we can work something out."

Vivian thought as she sighed slightly. "What about you? You gonna carry on drinking and coming back like before?"

Ace shook his head slowly as he finished off his cigarette and flicked it aside. "Not with you two in the house again." He promised her.

Vivian gave him a small smile as he tried to force one back.

"So if that uncle job is still going...?" He started as he forced a laugh.

Vivian laughed slightly but shook her head.

"Eyeball kinda already claimed it." She offered up apologetically.

"Bastard." Ace grumbled as he gave her a small smile. "Come on, you need some sleep. We'll sort this shit tomorrow."

Vivian nodded slowly as she felt herself yawn. Ace wrapped an arm around her shoulder and gently led her inside. The others all looked up as they watched Vivian walk slowly over to Eyeball.

"Sorry for shouting at you." She mumbled.

Eyeball shrugged it off as he gently took her hand. Giving it a small squeeze he gave her a small smile as she gently let go. Turning to Ace he slowly nodded.

"Go get some sleep."

Vivian nodded slowly as she wiped her eyes and quietly left the room, silently going up the stairs, feeling every ounce of energy leaving her body.

Though she knew she should be going into the spare room, she found her feet leading her into Ace's. Her hands raised under his top as she unzipped the dress and gently pulled it down her body so she was just in his shirt.

Yawning once more she kicked the dress aside and crashed out onto his bed, her hands clutching at the blankets and pillows.

"What's happening?" Eyeball asked after Vivian had disappeared upstairs.

"She's gonna stay here and thinks we're gonna sort this kid stuff out tomorrow." Ace mumbled as he reached down to the table and grabbed his car keys.

"Why do I get the feeling we're not actually waiting that long?" Vince mumbled.

Ace straightened up as he looked at him. "Because we're not. That kids gonna be here before she wakes up."

The others all shared a glance as they slowly nodded, standing up.

"Just gonna go change my shirt." Ace mumbled to Eyeball as Eyeball nodded in return.

He knew Ace just wanted to go upstairs and make sure Vivian was okay but didn't say anything as he watched Ace leave the room. Ace went straight upstairs and quietly into the spare room as he looked down confused. The bed was empty. Walking around he couldn't see her as he went into the bathroom. No Vivian.

His eyes fell on his bedroom door, gently closed halfway. She wouldn't be?

He slowly walked forward as he opened the door and looked down. Vivian was already fast asleep on the bed, her dress discarded to the side as he saw her snuggle into the bed a little deeper.

"This is the part where you put the blanket over her."

Ace turned as he saw Eyeball standing behind him, a small smirk on his face.

"Shut the fuck up." Ace whispered back as Eyeball held his hands up defensively and walked away.

Ace looked back down at Vivian as he slowly walked over, gently picking up the blanket he let it fall over her body.

"Fucks sake Eyeball." He grumbled as he took off his button up and chucked it on the side, before leaving in just his normal black top.
