"Ouch!"

Louie was thrown against the wall when the doors of the auditorium suddenly parted with a tremendous amount of force.

He bit his lower lip and stopped himself from cursing loudly when he accidentally tripped. He unexpectedly stumbled onto the sharp edge of the backrest of a chair before he was thrown towards the wall, and his pet down there almost got killed when the sharp edge of the freaking seat touched it.

"Damn. Damn. Damn. I'll burn that chair! Seems like it has plan to ruin my future!"

The sniper was about to punch the person who opened the door but he halted when he saw his boss standing in the doorway with the short doctor who has dried tears on her cheeks beside her.

Scarlett's aura is always dangerous and cold, her almond brown eyes are adorned with menacing look, threatening everyone who will approached her.

The Mafia queen's hands were balled into fists, veins popping, making her hands look more perilious.

Louie stared at her for a moment, then he slowly averted his gaze to the person in the stage to make sure he heard the right name when he were about to leave.

He shaked his head when he saw that it was really Kaiden, the doctor's bestfriend.

Ignoring the pain in his lower region, he made his way to his boss.

"First of all, you almost destroyed my future. Secondly, why are you here, coldy? Why are you with this shorty?"

He took a glimpse of the short-haired doctor who glared at him and raised her middle finger.

The Mafia queen started to make her way to the stage, the whole crowd stared at her, watching every movement she do with their surprised faces.

Meanwhile, Louie crossed his arms and leaned against the closed door, staring at the doctor's back. His gaze fell on the girl's injured elbow, the wound wasn't bandaged but there has ointment upon it.

He outstretched his right arm and poked the wound, causing the doctor to yelp and flinch.

Avery, who was startled and slightly jumped,  accidentally hit her foot on the chair ahead of her. With widened and shocked eyes, she fell onto the floor, right in front of the sniper who looked at the doctor with a raised eyebrow.

He don't watch k-dramas, I see. This jerk should have caught me like those romantic men I've watched!

She growled lowly and pulled herself up, silently mumbling 'thank yous' because no one noticed her, they are all too focused on the Mafia queen who's talking with the trembling announcer and Kaiden who is still standing in the middle of the stage, head hanging low.

The doctor then turned to the sniper and threw a deadly glare at him.

"What's with that look?"

"You're really an asshole! Why didn't you catch me?"

"Like those dudes in dramas doing everytime their heroine's falling?"

"Yes! And do you watch some? Why do you know about it?"

"Yes, I once tried to watch those boring dramas because I was curious why most of girls loves to watch that, I wanted to know what's with those guys y'all are watching but I didn't continue because of the cheap scene you want me to do."

"Cheap?! It's called 'romantic', boy!"

"It's 'boring and corny'."

The doctor huffed and turned her gaze to her bestfriend who's standing in the middle of stage with his head hanging low.
