Scarlett's Mistake

Chapter 63

"Miss Scarlett! L-Let's take a picture!" Kaiden uttered as he pulled his phone out from his yellow hoodie's pocket.

They are in the beach again, it's just 5 am but they're all awake now because they'll go to a pineapple farm later, which is owned by Mr Constantini, yes, he owns a pineapple plantation in the province.

It's 3 hours away from the beach resort so they had to wake up early so that they'll arrive there before lunch because they still have to cook foods. They decided to just cook lunch there since there's also an ancient mansion in the middle of the plantation.

The others are now swimming in the ocean. It was just the oldies, Kaiden, and Scarlett who are in the beach. The two old mafias are talking about business again while sitting on the seaside, a cup of coffee in their hands.

"L-Look at the sky! It's pretty," the boy mumbled as Scarlett looked up at the sky.

There was a shade of yellow and orange in the sky because the sun is beginning to rise, some group of birds were also flying through the air, the crescent moon were also still visible, making the scenery more breathtaking.

"I'll t-take picture of you with the beach and the s-sky! C'mon," Kaiden uttered again and gestured his fiancee to stand on the seaside.

Scarlett, on the other hand, heaved a sigh and just stood there. She faced north and looked up at the sky, raised her hand and put it above her face, as if she's blocking her eyes from the light.

Kaiden giggled and took lots of pictures of the mafia queen and just after a minute, he took almost thirty shots.

It was still kinda dark so it's only the mafia queen's silhouette that Kaiden could see in the photos yet it made his breath hitch.

Scarlett is pretty with the sky and the ocean. She's undeniably beautiful.

"Why the fvck are you laughing?" the mafia queen asked and approached the giggling boy with a frown on her face. "What's funny?"

"I-I'm just happy, M-Miss Scarlett."

"Why?"

Kaiden looked at her with a huge smile. He put his phone in his hoodie's pocket again, then he circled his arms around Scarlett's waist and drew her closer to him as the mafia queen looked up at the taller boy, she put her hands on his muscular chest and got lost in the boy's alluring doe eyes again.

"I'm happy that I'm going to marry a snow."

Scarlett raised her eyebrow infinitesimally.

"Snow?"

Kaiden nodded and smiled widely.

"Yes, a snow. Y-You're like a snow, M-Miss Scarlett." He raised his right hand and tucked the small bunch of hair, that fell over her face, behind her ear. Then he placed a soft kiss between her glaring eyes that were narrowed again. "Cold yet breathtakingly beautiful."

Kaiden was about to lean towards the mafia queen and kiss her but someone coughed fakely at their side, causing them both look at the source of the sound.

Both of them let each other go and blushed when they saw the others with teasing smirks on their faces.

"Continue that later," Mr Constantini uttered with his mischievous voice. "We have to go to the plantation. Don't worry, you can continue there. There's a soundproof room in the mansion. You can be loud there without someone hearing it."

Scarlett frowned. The others chuckled. And Kaiden looked at his father confusedly.

"L-Loud? W-What do you m-mean, dad? Why w-would we be loud?"
