Scarlett's Mistake

Chapter 48

"Fvck! I cannot believe it!" Keira said again after the whole five minutes of silence.

"Tell neither of them about this, are we clear? Kaiden will surely take that seriously and hurt Scarlett. He cannot know about it." Avery heaved a sigh. "Let's just forget about it."

She was about to speak again but Kaiden already went to the lounge area again with coffee in his hand. He still had narrowed, confused eyes when he put the coffee on the table.

That was also the moment that Scarlett came back with her furious amd dangerous aura, which replaced the thick, awkward atmosphere around the villa.

"Coldy? What happened?!" Louie, who immediately sensed that something is wrong, asked and even pulled himself up and gave his boss a worried look but Scarlett ignored him and furiously went to the cellar where the two men: one of the men who attacked Scarlett almost two months ago and the one who burnt her factories were, and yes, they are still alive and well.

Their former wounds are now healed since it is been a while since the mafias tortured them. They kept the men inside that dark cellar with only foods and water. Scarlett still need to know who's their unknown boss so she cannot let them die.

"Coldy! Coldy! What happened?" Hades worriedly asked as he ran and pulled his boss back when he reached her.

They all now inside the kitchen and are just a meter away from the entrance of the cellar.

The mafia queen turned around to him and removed his hand from her arm while gritting her teeth.

"I got a text from the manager of my hotel in Boracay and he fvcking told me that someone set it on fire!"

"Then? Why are you going in the cellar?" Louie asked curiously.

The mafia queen gave her a cold look before she averted her deadly gaze to the entrance of the dark huge room. She turned to it and pressed the red button to open the cellar.

"That bastard who burnt the factories. I fvcking talked to him almost two weeks ago and asked him who ordered him to do that but he just fvcking told me that his boss wouldn't stop until all my properties are all burnt. I'll fvcking kill him now if he still won't tell me his boss. I know his boss did this."

Scarlett furiously entered the dark room and walked straight to the wooden table at the right side of the room and picked a revolver and bullets.

While filling the gun with bullets, she took a glimpse of the two man who are sitting on a metal rusty chair in the middle of the room, their backs were facing each other and their hands that was on their backs were tied to each other with one tight and thick rope, both of them were looking at her with their fazed eyes as she put bullets on the revolver.

"One chance. Tell me your boss or I'll kill you?" she asked coldly before she averted her gaze to the group of people inside the cellar.

"Take Keira and Avery out of here. Take that baby, too," she uttered while looking at Kaiden who's giving her an innocent and scared look with his doe eyes. It was obvious that he's disagreeing with what she'll do.

Austin and Louie pulled the Alcantara sisters out of the room as Hades held Kaiden's arm. He was about to pull the introvert boy out but he suddenly removed the hacker's hold around his arm and ran towards Scarlett.

When he reached her, he held Scarlett's empty hand with his both hands. He caged the girl's hand between his warm and bigger hands and gave her a begging lookng.

"C-Can't you order someone t-to do that?" Hope were lacing his voice but it plummeted when Scarlett responded;

"No. I want to kill that bastard."
