Scarlett mentally cursed and tried to glare at Kaiden who's now walking towards her but the boy were looking at the gray and white husky between his veiny arms, it was still a cute puppy and it caught Kaiden's attention.

Damn! Don't go here, dumbass! He'll recognize you!

Kaiden was there when she met Lorenzo in the parking lot of the airport and she cannot let her ex-lover see the introvert boy again, he'll surely ask questions.

Wait.....She froze for a moment and sighed in relief when she remembered that Kaiden were wearing mask and cap that time so Lorenzo didn't see his face.

But....but fvck! He fvcking took his mask off when this jerk was still there! He surely saw this kid's face!

Wrong. The mafia boss didn't see Kaiden that time because he was focused on Scarlett and too happy to notice someone else aside from his ex-lover.

The mafia queen looked at Lorenzo who's sitting across her and scrolling through his phone after he got a message. Scarlett cursed more when he looked at her with a smile on his lips.

"Sorry, I have to g---"

"Right! Go, now! Fast!"

Lorenzo narrowed his eyes when his ex-lover stood up and grabbed his left arm. She pulled him up and hurrriedly made her way to the door of the café, hastily dragging him.

"Wait, Scarlett----"

"You said you have to go---"

"Yes, but---"

"Go now. It must be important, you should----"

"M-Miss Scarlett? A-Are we going h-home?"

The mafias halted right in the middle of the café. Lorenzo narrowed his eyes. Scarlett mentally cursed. Kaiden looked at them with confused doe eyes, arms still wrapped around the husky who's snuggling against his muscular chest.

The mafia queen breathed heavily, cursing the introvert boy for talking to her.

She's kind of worried for the innocent boy and don't ask her why because she also don't know.

What will she tell to Lorenzo now? Now that he heard Kaiden saying 'are we going home?'. He's surely thinking about something else now! She's sure Lorenzo's thinking what's their relationship since Kaiden asked her if they'll go home now.

Scarlett never wandered with someone, especially with a boy aside from her most trusted men so she is sure Lorenzo will wonder if she tell to him that the introvert boy is their cook because why would she take a cook with her? Cooks should stay in her villa and not go in another country or to somewhere with her!

And even if she'll tell that Kaiden is only their cook, Lorenzo, who has chaotic mind that cannot accept a simple explanation, will surely think about something else.

The first thing he'll think is Scarlett and that boy has relationship more than a boss and a cook because he knows that the mafia queen isn't that kind of a person who'll take an ordinary person with her. He knows her well, she only go to somewhere with someone if that someone is one of her most trusted men or member of the organization or one of the people she treasure the most. He knows her well and she know about it.

Slowly, Scarlett turned to Kaiden and glared at him as Lorenzo gazed at her with questioning look on his face.

"Scarlett? Do you know him? Why is he asking you if----"
