"Here, eat this." Mr Montanari smiled meagerly as he slightly pushed the plate of salad towards Keira who gave him a shy smile. "Always eat healthy foods, it'll be good for my grandchild."

Scarlett's right hands let out a proud chuckle but they immediately stopped when the mafia queen spoke coldly;

"It's not your grandchild. You aren't Austin's father."

The old mafia boss just smiled and averted his gaze towards his only daugther who was forced to seat near him.

Scarlett weren't eating dinner, she was just drinking wine. She didn't eat within their 13 hours and 30 minutes flight frim Philippines to Italy but she still refused to eat dinner. She said she wasn't hungry.

"When will I have a grandchild from you, then? I want to see my grandchildren before I die. I'm getting old, Scarlett."

"Then die without seeing your grandchildren. Who cares?"

"Coldy!"

She looked at her most trusted men with a bored expression on her face.  They gave her a threatening look.

"It's his birthday, Scarlett, why are you hurting him?" It's Keira who spoke with her low voice.

"He hurt me first. It's a tie."

The chef threw a sympathetic look towards the mafia boss because a hurt expression flickered on his face and when Mr Montanari noticed Keira's stare, he just gave her a reassuring smile.

"Anyways, what brought you here? Why did you suddenly visit me after three years?" Mr Montanari asked again as he took a glimpse of his daughter who suddenly stiffened amd threw a glare of the sniper and the hacker who suddenly chuckled.

Scarlett was about to speak but Louie already did;

"Ask your daughter, she unexpectedly decided to go here. Maybe she wanted to greet you a happy birthday or she---"

"I'm here to know about something," Scarlett cut the sniper off. She glared at him for a second before she averted her gaze to her father who confusely looked at her.

"Let's talk. Now," she uttered with her commanding cold voice and stood up. She was about to walk away but Mr Montanari grabbed her arm.

"Can we talk tomorrow? It's almost 10 pm."

"I don't care. Let's talk now."

The mafia queen forcefully and rudely pulled her arm away from her father's grip and threw a threatening glare at him, then she turned around.

Everyone just watched her until she disappeared room the dining area.

Mr Montanari just heaved a sigh and gave everyone a small smile.

"I heard you all have girlfriends now. Tell them to go here tomorrow. I wanna meet them," he uttered before he stood up.

The old man hurriedly walked out of the dining room and followed the mafia queen who's already walking through the stairs.

He just followed his daughter until they arrived in the balcony at the end of the right hallway.

Scarlett stood there and leaned against the metal railing. She looked up at the starry sky and waited for her father to stand beside her and when he did, she looked at him.

"I already know that he was my childhood bestfriend before you found out," she started and looked at the sky again.

Mr Montanari just let out a low sigh and listened to his daughter while looking up at the sky, too.
