Scarlett's Mistake

Chapter 17

"Coldy, are you really sure you'll attend the party later? You know we can just give his orders to him and tell that you couldn't come," Louie, for the nth time, asked his boss who is currently eating a piece of Margherita pizza while sitting on a black wing chair with her usual emotionless face.

Her house in Japan looks like Montanari villa, the buildings has the same size, same furnitures, same styles, etc.. They really look the same.

Scarlett's houses in different countries are all like Montanari villa because she said it feels like she's in her home (in Italy) even though she's in different countries.

Montanari villa was given to her by her father a few years ago, the villa looks like their house in Italy. Her father himself was also the one who designed the house, that's why the mafia queen decided to build houses (that all looks like their villa) in different countries, she wants to feel that she's always home.

"Coldy, are you really----"

"Aren't you tired? You kept asking that since yesterday. And no, I won't attend the party. Just like what you said, you four will go and give Mr Yamaguchi's orders to him. Now, shut up," Scarlett said with her impatient, cold and threatening voice, menacing almond eyes kept looking at the crystal chandelier hanging in the middle of lounge area while she keeps on taking small bites from the pizza in her right hand.

She's thinking about what happened yesterday. To be honest, she didn't expect that but she wasn't surprised, she knew something like that will happen once she step her feet on this country but she didn't expect it to happen right after their arrival.

No one expected it. None of them expected that sudden meeting yesterday. They were all oblivious.

Lorenzo were having a meeting with his business partner in the restaurant across Scarlett's private airport. He just accidentally spotted the mafia queen when she went out of the building.

He immediately approached her and he was so happy to see her, he was also excited because he heard that the mafia queen is invited in Mr Yamaguchi's party.

Scarlett greeted him formally but he didn't mind. Lorenzo was about to ask her if she can be his partner in the party but Akari suddenly approached them.

The yakuza were negotiating with her client in the same restaurant where Lorenzo was. She didn't know that her ex-boyfriend was there but when she saw him running out of the restaurant, she followed the mafia boss and anger immediately invaded her whem she saw Lorenzo talking to Scarlett. Akari aproached them and that was the moment that the tension started.

"Can we go with them?"

The mafia queen immediately averted her gaze to Avery and her sister when they said that in unison, a huge smile on theirs lips, eyes looking at her with pleading look.

"No! No! No! You two cannot got with us!" Louie immediately answered before Scarlett could speak.

"What? Why?! What will we do here, then?! Stare at nothingness till death comes?! Eat our nails? Huh?"

"First of all, why did you come with us? I told you we're here for business but you still came. Secondly, you two cannot go to the party, unless you want to die. Thirdly, we don't want burdens. If enemies see you with us, they will surely get and squeeze informations from you. That baby will ask us to save you and we don't want that, definitely not."

The sniper snorted because when he averted his gaze to Kaiden, who is sitting on the first step of the stairs, he saw him talking to his spotted cat and hugging it lovingly, a genuine smile on his lips.
