Scarlett's Mistake

Chapter 46

Week had passed and they all enjoyed travelling the whole country within a week. They took lots of pictures, bought lots of souvenirs, emitted lots of smiles, well, except the cold ones: Scarlett and Jaxon.

They enjoyed their vacation and now, they finally came back to the Philippines and a catastrophe welcomed them just the moment they stepped their feets outside Scarlett's private airport.

A loud explosion in the airport's parking lot welcomed them and a letter, which Louie saw, were left in the sole tree that were standing near the lot.

"Read it," Scarlett commanded with anger in her voice as the sniper read it loudly;

"Welcome home, Scarlett. How's your trip in Korea? Were you happy with that boy? I hope you were happy because it's the last time you'll feel glee, I'll bring hell to you. Keep an eye on your boy, too. Now that I'm back and I just had a peek at your possible weakness, I don't think my evil self will let him live longer."

"What the?! Who the fvck is that person?" Austin uttered with annoyance in his voice.

And they all looked at Scarlett when she suddenly punched the hard trunk of the tree, which caused a huge crack on it.

She know a lot about that person who wrote the letter. Every word that are used and that kind of threat. She knew who's behind it.

"Damn you, Matteo. I'll kill you this time, I'll fvcking kill you."

The mafia queen breathed heavily as she turned to her companion again and she narrowed her eyes when she noticed that someone is missing.

"Where the fvck is Kaiden?!"

She didn't notice the boy because when they got out of the airplane, she was kinda busy telling her four right hands to take care of their works that they couldn't finish since they kept travelling around Korea within the past week.

"He told me he'll just go to comfort room," Avery reluctantly and worriedly said.

Everyone gaped at her.

"Darn it," Scarlett mumbled before she ran towards the entrance of the airport and when she reached it, she almost punched the thick, unbreakable glass wall of the airport when she spotted the introvert boy walking through the wide empty lobby while grimacing painfully.

His face were full of blood, bruises, and wounds, and he was also limping.

The mafia queen muttered lots of curses as she made her way to the boy who just gave her a small smile while waiting for her to reach him.

"What the fvck happened?" Scarlett asked coldly as she grabbed the boy's both arms rather tightly.

Kaiden pouted.

"T-They suddenly attacked me when I w-went out of the comfort r-room."

"They?! Who?!"

"I-I don't know. They were w-wearing mask and cap." Kaiden made a grimace that is full of pain. "M-Miss Scarlett, m-my arms. I-It hurts."

The mafia queen stiffened as her dangerous cold gaze fell onto the boy's arms. She immediately released her hold around them when she noticed that it wad already too tight and bruising. She were so angry and she didn't notice that she's already hurting the boy.

Scarlett pulled out a black handherchief from her denim jean's back pocket and gave it to Kaiden, who immediately took it and wiped the bloods on his face.

I'll fvcking kill whoever did this. I'll fvcking bring them to hell.

The mafia queen gritted her teeth as she watched the boy wipe the bloods off his face with a small pout on his lips.
