Scarlett's Mistake

Chapter 47

"Hey, wake up. Wake. Up."

Scarlett pulled the duvet off from Kaiden irritatedly because she's been trying to wake him up for the whole five minutes yet the boy didn't even open his eyes.

The mafia queen looked at the boy's curled up body, he really looks like bulky muscles trying to fit in a small space right now. She snorted and slightly bent down to poke the boy's somewhat chubby cheek.

"Wake up!" But the boy didn't, instead of opening his eyes, he turned around so his back is now facing the annoyed mafia queen. "What the fvck?! Wake up!"

"F-Five minutes," Kaiden finally mumbled as he hugged the human-sized Pikachu stuffed toy more, which was given to him by the mafia queen.

"Wake up! Now!"

Scarlett forcefully pulled the stuffed toy away from the introvert boy's hold and put it on the other bed. She grabbed the boy's left arm and pulled him up, making him sit on the bed with his eyes closed and a small pout on his lips. He was so adorable and Scarlett admit it but she's annoyed right now so she didn't had time to admire her stubborn boyfriend.

"Open your eyes. Now!"

"Three m-minutes more, p-please? I'm still sleepy, M-Miss Scarlett." He pouted more.

"No. Wake up, now. Open your eyes or I'll destroy that stuffed toy?"

Kaiden immediately opened his eyes, which he wish he didn't do since he almost got blinded when his eyes suddenly met the bright lights.

He blinked repeatedly. He took a glimpse of the wall clock inside the room before he slowly looked up at the mafia queen who's standing beside him with her emotionless face, her eyes were glaring and there was a hint of annoyance there.

"W-Why are you waking me up, Miss Scarlett? It's still three in the morning. I-I thought I-I should wake up at f-five?"

"Change schedule. You should wake up at three from now on since you have to warm up before the training. Now, take a bath and go out in five minutes. Don't make me wait."

Kaiden pouted.

"Fifteen minutes, please?"

"Three minutes," Scarlett uttered with her cold, dismissive voice before she strode out of the room, not letting the gaping sleepy boy speak again.

"M-Miss Scarlett!"

"Two minutes!"

The introvert boy pouted more as he hurriedly got out of the bed and ran to the bathroom of the room.

He took a bath for two minutes and wore black jogging pants, black loose hoodie, since it was cold, and white rubber shoes.

When he opened the door of the room, he almost had heart attack when a flying dagger welcomed him and buried itself on the opened  wooden door, right beside his head.

It took his sleepiness away.

"You're one minute late," Scarlett, who is casually sitting on her wing black chair, spoke with her threatening voice as she took a sip from the wineglass she was holding that was full of a mixture of wine a drugs.

Kaiden saw the liquor, making him scrunch his nose. He hurriedly walked closer to the mafia queen and was about to grab the glass but Scarlett raised her pocket knife towards him and immediately gulped the content of the wineglass as if it was a water, making the boy to gape at her.

"M-Miss Scarlett, I-I told you that i-it's b----"

"I know that it's bad for my health but I don't care."
