"O-Ouch!"

Kaiden grimaced when someone bumped him which caused them both to fall onto the floor---in the middle of the quiet and empty hallway.

"Oh! Sorry!"

The introvert boy's eyes widened when he heard that familiar voice. He slowly raised his head up and gaped when he saw her face.

"M-Miss Lia?"

"Oh, Kaiden! Nice to see you again. Wait, should I call you Young Master Kaiden from now on since you're Mr Constantini's son?"

Kaiden narrowed his eyes as he stood up and helped the girl to stand up too by holding her arms and pulling her up.

"W-What do you m-mean M-Mr Constantini? W-Who's h-he?"

Lia's lips formed into a huge 'O'. She chuckled awkardly and waved her hands.

"Sorry, my mistake. Ignore what I said."

Kaiden innocently looked at her before he nodded. Then his gaze fell onto his broken phone that was on the floor. He was holding it and fell when he and Lia bumped into each other.

His eyes widened as he immediately bent down and picked his phone.

He tried to open it but it didn't open, causing him to let out a low sad sigh.

"H-How will I-I contact M-Miss Scarlett n-now?"

"Sorry," Lia uttered as Kaiden looked at her again and just gave her a small smile.

He put his broken phone back to his pocket and heaved a deep sigh.

"I-I'll go now, M-Miss Lia. N-Nice to m-meet you again."

Kaiden was about to walk away but Lia pulled his left arm to stop him.

"Wait. Did you see Andrew? Is he in Mr---I mean, President Hernandez' office?"

"N-No. H-He isn't there, M-Miss Lia a-and c-can you not touch m-me?" Kaiden politely took her hand off his arm and gave her a small smile. "M-Miss Scarlett w-will get mad."

Kaiden bowed his head as what he said made Lia laugh with amusement.

"You really love her, huh. Let's buy another phone, then, so that you can contact her. I'm bored, too, since Andrew is nowhere to be found so let's go and buy a phone."

She smiled widely as the boy looked up at her with wide eyes.

"Y-You don't have t-to---"

"No. I insist since I was the one who broke your phone. If I were looking at my way, we wouldn't collide."

"B-But i-it's still useless. I-I don't r-remember her n-number."

"Are you serious?!"

"W-We were together e-everyday and r-rarely call e-each other so I-I d-didn't have t-to memorize h-her number. I-It was saved i-in my phone, too."

Lia nodded. She hummed and stared at the boy for a second, then she clapped her hands.

"Let's just buy a new phone, then let's ask your cousin, Lorenzo! I am sure he knows her private number!"

"O-Okay."

And they did, they both went to a famous mall that is owned by a mafia and bought Kaiden's new phone. Lia bought the one that costed almost a hundred thousand and the boy tried to decline and persuade her to buy a cheaper one but of course, the girl ignored him and just bought the phone.
