"Lily! Look! I made a flower crown for you!" Little Kaiden said cheerfully as he ran towards a little girl who has long, shiny hair and was wearing a white plain dress that were until below her knees and white, luxurious ballerina flats were adorning her fair feet's skin, and her hair were braided into two, a huge smile playing on her kissable pink lips.

"Woah! It's pretty!" Lily exclaimed with a beam as she dreamily stared at the crown that were made of different flowers Kaiden picked from his grandmother's garden.

"It's pretty with you!" Kaiden said before he put the crown over the shorter girl's head with a wide smile.

After putting the crown, he stared at his bestfriend and immediately got lost in her eyes that are full of glee. He stared at her face with adoration in his doe eyes.

"Am I beautiful?" Lily suddenly asked innocently, pulling the boy out from his deep reverie.

Kaiden smiled and nodded.

"Yes, you're beautiful, Lily, like the sun when it meets the sea."

"Really?! I'm pretty like the sunset? You love sunsets, right?"

"Yeah."

"Do you love me, then? You said I am pretty like sunsets and you love them! Does it mean you also love me? Me who's pretty as sunsets?"

"Yes. I love you, Lily."

The little girl giggled before she attacked the boy with her bone-breaking warm hug. Kaiden just smiled and kept his hands to himself.

"I love you, too! Will you marry me when we grown up?"

Kaiden nodded.

"Yes, I'll marry you when we grow up, Lily."

Kaiden smiled as he sadly stared at the flower crown he made while going home.

He sat on the single sofa of the condominium's lounge area and bliinked his tears away. He out the crown over the glass coffee table in front of him before he leaned against the backrest of the sofa and closed his eyes, still supressing his tears.

"L-Lily," he mumbled and bit his lower lip afterwards and his tears finally fell from the corners of his doe eyes. "T-Today is our f-friendship anniversary."

The introvert boy wiped his tears but he kept his eyes closed.

"I-I miss you. H-How are you? A-Are you h-happy?"

He chuckled lowly. He looks like a psychopath for laughing while crying but he don't care. He just want to lessen the heaviness and sadness in his chest.

"I-I told you I-I'll marry you w-when we grow up, r-right? I-I'm in the r-right age n-now. W-We can get m-married any t-time."

He chuckled woefully again, then he sobbed and tried hard to stop himself from crying but tears don't want to stop.

"L-Lily, w-why did you l-leave me s-so early? W-We planned t-to grow old together a-and d-die in each o-other's arms b-but w-why did you die w-without growing up w-with me? L-Lily, c-come back t-to me, p-please."

"She will never come back to you, Kai. Accept the fact that she's already dead. Move on."

Kaiden immediately opened his eyes and slightly turned his head to the door that was behind him and he immediately wiped his tears when he saw his bestfriend approaching him with serious look on her face.
