Chapter 62

On Monday morning I made my way over to class and sat with Una. She kept saying how hot she thought Ashton was and it made me feel proud that he was mine. I mean, I knew he was hot, he was absolutely stunning, but to hear someone else say it made me feel great.

It was scary knowing that I only had a few months of my first year left but it was also comforting as I could spend the whole summer at home then without going back and forth.

The next week on Thursday Mrs Goodwin asked me to stay behind after class. She smiled at me and I hoped that it was for what I was hoping.

'I did all I could to fulfill your request Jade' she said

That sounded like a no then by the sounds of it

'And I've made a lot of calls to get everything sorted for you and I got to it in the end and it was successful!' She grinned
I stood speechless. I didn't know what to say, I stood with a huge smile on my face and suddenly began screaming

'Thank you so so much! I can't even begin to explain what this means to me!' I squealed

'You're very welcome' she smiled

I ran out of the room and back to my dorm and rang Ashton as soon as I got there

'Hey baby' he answered

'Ashton' I boomed 'oh my god, I need to come home to tell you and my mum something!'

'Is it bad?' He asked, sounding worried

'No! Its not bad at all. But I'm going to check the train times now' I said in a rush

'No baby, I'll come and pick you up' he said
'No it's too much for you Ash, I'll just get the train' I said

'Nothing's too much for my Princess. I'm getting my jacket on now, I'll leave in a few minutes. Go and pack some stuff for the weekend' he said

'Thank you Ashton' I replied and hung up and immediately started stuffing things into a bag

I then rang my mum and told her I was comimg home that night I because I had no lessons on a Friday. She asked what was so important that I needed to say but I told her she needed to wait.

When Ashton got there he also asked what I wanted to say, but I explained that I would tell him and my mum together so he had to wait.

I kept smiling to myself the whole journey home and wanted to tell Ashton but couldn't. He kept turning his head and looking at my smile, I knew he was curious but didn't ask any more questions.

'You know you look really hot driving' I said

'Yeah? You think?'

'Definitely' I said placing my hand on his leg which he immediately moved straight away

'Not now babe' he said looking at the road

'I didn't mean it like that' I chucked

'I know but you know I can't help myself sometimes'

I just smiled and shook my head and looked out of the window.

When we finally arrived back to my house, Ashton grabbed my bags while I knocked on my door.
I was greeted by my mum grinning widely and hugging me.

When we was all inside, I sat down in front of them both

'Well I've been working on this for a few weeks now, but I didn't say anything until I knew what the final answer was in case it was a no. But it wasn't, they said yes'

'Who said yes about what?' My mum asked confused

'I can start at this college next year carrying on from the course I'm doing already! They're transferring me' I grinned

'What? But I thought you couldn't because they rejected you?!' My mum said through a smile, not wanting to get too excited

'My teacher spoke to them and said what a lovely student I was and said they'd be lucky to have me. So starting in September I can do my 2nd year here and come home' I grinned

'Jade that's wonderful' my mum cried and jumped up to hug me

I stayed in her arms for a few seconds before pulling away and looked at Ashton who stood with a big smile on his face. He then walked over and wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his face into my neck

'That's amazing Jade! Can't wait to have you home again' he whispered

'I can't wait to be home, with you' I smiled and ran my fingers though his hair.

I was so happy. I couldn't wait to come home. The only thing that made me dread it was bringing everything back home, but it was going to be done one day anyway.

'Is this what you really want though Jade?' He asked, looking into my eyes

'What? Yes of course it is!' I said confused

'Really? Or are you doing this for me?'

'I'm doing it because I want to Ashton. Promise' I smiled

'Good' he said and hugged me again

I was coming home a year earlier than planned and I was ecstatic. I could finally live in my own house again and see my mum and Ashton every day. I would miss my new friends, but not a patch on how much I missed it back home.

The atmosphere felt better already. At least I knew everyone was happy about me coming home. For all I knew my mum could have really enjoy her own space, but she seemed genuinely excited for me to come home.

I hoped that everything would go back to normal when I get back home. I knew it would take a while for it to happen, but its all I really wanted.

My mum said Ashton could stay over for the weekend while I was here so we soon enough went up stairs and got into bed. I cuddled up next to him and smiled. Not long until this became the regular thing again
