Chapter 16

A few months later after Christmas and New Year, things had been almost the same. Apart from me and my mum were talking properly again. Ashton and I had spent almost every day together as usual and every day I would have to try and stop myself from making my feelings for him obvious. This was beginning to get really hard because the more time we spend together, the more I fell for him.

For Christmas he had made a collage of all the pictures we had took together since we met, which I hung up in my room.

This was weird for me as I never really had pictures or anything up in my room.

He had also got me a cup with Beauty and the Beast on because he knew it was my favourite Disney film.

He made me so happy and he knew me so well and I just wish he felt the same way.

Today was a Saturday and I was going out with Ashton for a bit then back to his house while his family was out.

We had knew each other for 6 months now. Wow half a year, it had gone so quick.

I got ready and wore a grey t- shirt and blue skinny jeans and straightened my hair and done my make up and walked out the house to see Ashton stood waiting for me.

'Afternoon Miss Healy' he smiled

'Afternoon' I said smiling back

'So what do you want to do today?'

'Anything. What do you want to do?'

'How about we go for some lunch?' He suggested

'Sure'

We got the bus into town and he suggested Nando's. I know he only said that because he knew it was my favourite, he was so cute.

We got a table in Nando's I said I'd go to order this time.

'No it's fine, I'll go' he said

'Here's my money then' I said sliding money across the table

'Nope' he said pushing it back at me and got up and walked towards the till. I felt so bad, I never paid for anything.

When he sat back down I just looked at him.

'What?' He asked giggling

'Why do you never let me pay?'

'Because I'm a nice guy'

'But I feel bad' I said

'Well don't. I don't have anyone else to spend my money on'

'Yourself'

'I do spend it on myself, Just you also. I like spending time with you' he said blushing

'I like spending time with you too but I don't like you spending your money on me. It's not fair'

'If the food was here I would have thrown some of it at you by now you know' he said laughing

'Oh I know you would have' I giggled.

After we had ate we got up and had a quick look around some shops before getting back on the bus home.

'Do you wanna go to the park for a bit before we go back to mine?' Ashton said

'Yeah, why not' I said

We sat side by side on the swings and both began swinging lightly.

'Can you believe it's been 6 months since we first met?' Ashton said
