Chapter 21

Getting ready for school the next morning was hard. I hadn't had much sleep and wanted to get back in bed more than anything.

I made an extra effort to look good today because I wanted to impress Ashton. I quickly got ready then went downstairs and checked my appearance in the mirror before opening the door.

'Good morning princess' Ashton beamed as I walked over to him

'Morning Ash' I smiled

'You get more beautiful every day!'

'I'd say the same back but you already know it' I laughed

He linked my hand and we walked to school together.

When we got to school I heard someone shout my name and it was Erin who was stood with Lauren outside the gates, They motioned for me to go over.

'See ya in a bit babe' Ashton said kissing my forehead and walking off

'Haven't seen you in a while' Erin said when I walked over

'I know! Sorry guys' I said

'We have a lot to catch up on!' Lauren grinned

'Like what?' I asked

'Well how is everything going with you and Ashton?'

'Great thanks' I smiled awkwardly. I didn't really like talking about mine and Ashton's relationship. I liked to keep it between us 'How's everything with Luke and Calum?'

'Great thanks. Luke's a really lovely guy' Erin said blushing and I smiled

'Really good!' Lauren said smirking 'So... Have you and Ashton had sex yet?'

'Lauren!' Erin scolded 'You can't ask someone that'

'What? We're best friends! It's a need to know thing'

Erin shook her head but then asked 'Well.... Have you?'

'You two are crazy' I laughed

'Don't avoid the question' Lauren said pushing my shoulder.

I ignored her but couldn't hide my smile

'You have!' they both shouted and laughed

'Shush' I said looking around making sure no one heard

'Don't be shy Jade. I have with Calum!' Lauren said laughing

'I'm not even surprised' I laughed 'Well Erin... What about you?'

'Oh she wouldn't have, they're both too shy and quiet' Lauren giggled.

Erin just blushed and laughed

'Oh my god!' Me and Lauren shouted

'Well I didn't expect that!' Lauren said shocked.

'It's too early for this talk. Let's go in' I said linking their arms like old times and walking into the gates. Calum wolf whistled at Lauren as we walked past and Luke just shyly waved at Erin. Michael was stood with Jen at the side and I couldn't help but wonder where Ashton was.

During second lesson all the last year students were called for an assembly.

'As you all know the end of the year is coming up!' Me Parsons announced 'There will be a prom for all last year students taking place after all the exams have finished'

A sudden outburst of gasps and whispering broke out in the hall.

I looked at Ashton out of the corner of my eyes and he just sat looking at his lap.
