Chapter 44

I was finally home again. Well, what I'd be calling home for the next 2 weeks again, I'd gotten too used to my own space.

'Its nice to have you back' my mum said as we walked through the door

'Its nice to be back' I smiled

'Are you guys hungry?' My mum asked

I looked at Ashton for a response

'No I'm okay for now thanks' he said.

'Well I'm just going to sort a few things out in the house then I'll leave you two alone for a while' she said, turning and going into the kitchen

Ashton looked at me and raised his eyebrows at me, I shook my head but couldn't help but smirk.

I walked upstairs and into my room and looked around. It didn't feel like my room anymore, it was emptier than ever before.

'I know exactly why my mums going out' I whispered to Ashton

'She's giving us time alone, like she said' he smirked

'Do you not think it's a bit embarrassing that she knows what were doing?' I said, blushing

'I think she'd rather be out the house though, at least she's not said anything about it' he said, walking over and wrapping his arms around my waist

'Still embarrassing though' I laughed slightly

'Shut up' he chuckled, then lent in and kissed me

I pulled away because I had a sudden feeling of guilt hit me

'What's wrong baby?' He asked, looking confused and disappointed

'I'm sorry Ashton. I've been really horrible to you and you don't deserve it at all'

'Jade stop' he said, brushing some hair behind my ear

'No Ashton, I don't mean the things I say and I don't know why I say them'

'I know you don't. Don't worry about me, I know its hard to be away from home. Trust me, I feel like I left when you did. It's like part of me went with you, well it did. Because you're part of me. You don't need to apologize for anything. This is a big change for you and you need to get used to it' he said softly.

I put my head down as I felt tears in my eyes

'Hey, what's up' he said, pulling my face up to look at him

'You're too good to me Ashton. I really don't deserve you' I said

'Jade' he said and ran his thumb across my face 'Don't be silly, I'm a big boy now, I can take whatever you say to me' he laughed lightly

'You're my big boy' I giggled and pulled him closer to kiss him

'That's my girl' he mumbled against my lips.

We sat cuddled up watching TV in my room for a while until my mum shouted me to tell me she was going out for a few hours.

'Now I have you alone' Ashton growled down my ear after my mum had left

'Calm down Irwin, my mum's probably still on the driveway' I laughed

'No wonder other guys want you, you're fucking perfect' he said as he started unbuttoning my shirt

'Well the only guy that can have me is you' I said grabbing onto his muscles

'You got that right babe' he whispered, then started kissing down my neck.

I'll admit I had forgotten how Ashton made me feel. I can't imagine anyone else giving me the same rush.

I ran my fingers through his hair and tugged it slightly and his breath began getting heavier.
