Giant Step(Ness x Reader)

I was just walking home from the arcade when I heard footsteps running towards me. It was none other than my friend and crush, Ness.

"Hey (Y/N)! Going home?"

I nodded. "Yeah, I've been out all day."

Ness smiled. "Can we go to Giant Step? There's something I want to show you there."

"Sure."

I slowed down so I could walk beside Ness. We walked all the way to Giant Step, with all of the town pests avoiding us. (hmm earthbound reference...) I followed Ness as he navigated the caves and we finally reached the opening.

As we stepped out into the sunlight, I immediately took notice of the gigantic footprint in the ground. Ness ran over to the edge and beckoned me over. I followed him over to the edge and stood beside him.

We stood and looked at the view in silence for a few moments. I saw Ness shift slightly, then I felt him wrap his arm around my waist. 

I blushed. "N-Ness....??"

I looked at him, and surprisingly, he was blushing too. 

"(Y/N), do you know how much I like you?"

"I...uhm.."

"(Y/N)..." He moved his face closer to mine.

He pressed his lips onto mine.

I froze, shocked by his actions.

After a few seconds, he pulled away. "I love you, (Y/N)."

I smiled. "I... I love you too."

Ness grinned. "Can..Can I kiss you again?"

I blushed even more. "...Sure."

Ness giggled. He put his hands on my waist and moved his face close to mine.

Our lips met again, and after a few seconds he pulled away and smiled at me.

"I love you (Y/N)."

"I love you too."

"C'mon, I'll walk you home." Ness grabbed my hand and grinned at me.

We walked home together.
