Cold(Ness x Reader)

I was on a trip with Ness to go visit Jeff at Dr. Andonuts lab for his birthday. It was very cold outside, and the lab was sort of far away, so a member of the Tessie Watchers Club had invited us to stay the night with him at his tent.

 After a while, the guy left, saying he'd be right back and he had to do something really quick, and Ness and I were sitting together in silence. I rubbed my arms, trying to keep myself warm. I've lived in Summers for most of my life, so I'm not used to the cold. Ness looked a little cold too, but he seemed more accustomed to it than I was.

I looked at him in surprise. "Ness, aren't you cold?"

He smiled a little. "I'm a little cold, but I'll be fine. How are you?"

"I'm freezing! Summers has never been this cold, so this is really new to me. This is also my first time seeing snow in person."

Ness looked at me in surprise. "You've never seen snow before?"

I shook my head no. "Summers never gets this cold, and I don't travel that much."

He nodded and I turned to face the entry of the tent, waiting for the guy to return. "Ugh, it's so cold!" I turned back to Ness. "Do you think you could do something about it? Maybe start a fire or something?"

Ness thought for a moment, then smiled. "Yeah, I can."

I expected Ness to start a fire, but instead he sat next to me. He then put his arm around me and pulled me closer, making me blush.

Ness saw my reaction and smiled. "What? This helps too."

He was actually right. Even though I wasn't used to being this close to my crush, I did feel warmer. I put my head on his shoulder and scooted closer to him. After a few moments of silence, Ness turned to look at me again.

"Uh, (Y/N)? Can I ask you something?"

"Sure... what's on your mind?"

"Do you- Do you have a crush on anyone?"

I blushed a little at the thought. "Yeah..."

Ness looked a little disappointed. "Oh. Well, who's your crush?"

I blushed out of embarrassment. "I'd rather not say."

"C'mon (Y/N), please? "

I sighed. "Alright....the person I have a crush on is..."

I put my hands on Ness's cheeks and leaned in close. "You."

Ness blushed, then leaned in too, and our lips met. Ness wrapped his arms around my waist and we finally pulled away from each other.

I cupped Ness's face with my hands and he smiled at me. "I love you (Y/N)."

He then buried his face in my neck and I giggled. "I love you too Ness...."

Then we both pulled away as the tent owner walked back in.
