School Project(Ness x Reader)

(Y/N) P.O.V:

I was just listening and doodling in class when I heard the teacher start talking about a certain project that we will be working on. 

"Ok students, you will have a week to complete this project. You will be splitting into pairs to lighten the load a bit. You may pick your partner. People who are absent will be assigned a partner, so you may not pick them."

At that moment, I turned to where my best friend sits, but then I remembered she was absent today and I can't pick her. I wanted to ask some of my other friends, but most of them were pairing up with other people they knew.

I was just about to ask someone I didn't know when I saw Ness approach me. "Hey (Y/N)!"

"Hi."

"Did you choose a partner for the project yet?"

I shook my head no, and he smiled.

"Why don't you partner with me then?"

I blushed. Partnering with my crush? It's going to be really fun if I do but knowing him, I'll probably have to be the one who makes us work.

I smiled back at him. "Sure."

He grinned even more. "Alright!"

I had an idea. "Why don't we work on the project a little by ourselves, then meet up so we can combine what we've written?"

Ness nodded in agreement. "We could meet up on Wednesday at my place."

I nodded at got up to leave as the bell rang. "Sure. Alright, I'll see you then!" 

The next two days we worked on the project separately, then the day came to meet with Ness at his house.

Ness P.O.V:

(Y/N) was coming over in a few minutes, and I was waiting for her to show up, but not really for the project. I just wanted to spend some time with her, whether we actually worked on the project or not.

Finally, the doorbell rang. "I'll get it," I yelled.

I opened the door, and it was (Y/N). She looked really cute in her sweater and jeans, and she was smiling. I let her in, and we went upstairs to my room and shut the door.

She sat down on the floor next to me, then shrugged off her backpack and reached inside. "What did you do so far?"

"I wrote down my first and second draft, now I just need your peer review and the final."

(Y/N) nodded. "Same. Can I see your papers please?"

I passed her my work, and she passed me hers. For a few minutes, everything was silent as we checked each other's work. This kind of felt boring to me though, so I decided to mess around a little bit. 

I raised my blue pen to my face and drew a smiley face on my left cheek. (Y/N) looked up like she was going to say something, then laughed a little. "Ness!"

Her laugh made me blush a little. "Does it look that bad??"

"Oh, Ness....Now you have to clean it off..." She cupped my face with her hands and began wiping my cheek with her thumb.

That made my face heat up, especially because of how close her face was to mine, how pretty she looked, and even her hands being soft and how nice it felt with her close to me. 

After she managed to wipe it off, she went back to checking my work, but I didn't feel like going back to work.

I looked over her shoulder to see what she was doing when she leaned away and covered my paper. "No peeking!" When she relaxed, I tried to look again, and she gently pushed my head off her shoulder. The third time I tried to peek, she stole my cap off of my head and put it on while laughing.

I smiled and tried to take it back, but she slipped past me and flopped on the bed, still laughing. "I told you not to peek!"

Seeing (Y/N) be silly like this made me blush. I went over and started tickling her sides, making her laugh even harder. After a few minutes of this, she was crying laughing and begging me to stop, so I did.

We were both laughing, and (Y/N)'s hands were cupping my face again. I decided to confess now, since the mood was less school-focused. "(Y/N)? Can I confess something?"

She smiled, making me blush even more. "Sure. What's on your mind?"

"Well, I know we've been friends for a while now, but I'm not sure I want to just stay friends. I love you, and I've been waiting to say so for a long time."

At that moment, (Y/N) was silent, so I thought maybe she didn't feel the same way.

(Y/N) P.O.V:

He loves me.

He actually loves me!

My long-time crush actually likes me back!

It took a minute for his words to register, but when they did, I leaned forward and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I love you too Ness."

Ness smiled again and leaned in, and our lips met.

I leaned into the kiss and began ruffling his soft black hair, which made him moan softly. After a few moments of this, I felt Ness's tongue touch my lip, making me blush, so I opened my mouth and Ness began probing my mouth with his tongue. At this point, I was the one moaning a little.

This went on for a few minutes before we both calmed down a little and Ness pulled away, leaving a small strand of saliva from his mouth and mine. Ness buried his face in my neck. "I love you (Y/N)."

I calmly began stroking his hair. "I love you too Ness..."

Then we heard someone knock on the bedroom door. Ness quickly got off of me then sat up, and I sat up on the bed as well.

Ness's mother was calling me. "(Y/N), your mother said that it's about time you go home."

"Okay. Tell her I'm on my way." His mother walked away.

I began packing my things and I slung my backpack on my shoulder. I smiled at Ness and gave him back his cap. "Bye Ness. Maybe next time we can actually finish the project."

Ness smiled back at me, then gave me a kiss on the forehead. "Bye. Maybe we can finish it tomorrow."

I walked out of Ness's home with my unfinished work and a smile on my face.
