Spin the Bottle(Ness x Reader)

I was minding my own business, gathering my stuff so I could leave school, when I heard someone sprinting down the hallway towards me. "Hey! (Y/N)!"

I was my best friend. "Are you busy this evening?"

I shut my locker and looked at her. "No, why?"

She grinned. "I'm having a party if you want to come."

"A party? What for?"

"Just for fun. Nothing bad really. There will be pizza, board games, we'll probably go to the park, and we'll play another game."

"What 'other' game?"

"You'll see if you show up. Do you want to go?"

"Well..." I thought long and hard. "It sounds fun, I'll ask my mom."

"Okay!" She smiled and began walking away. "I hope you can come!"

I smiled back and began walking home.

When I got home, I immediately began asking my mom if I could attend the party.

"Mom, can I go to (bf/n)'s party? Please?"

"(Y/N), why didn't you tell me about this sooner?"

"I'm sorry Mom, I just heard about this today. I just really want to go."

"Well....alright."

"Thank you!" I hugged my mom and went upstairs to pick an outfit to wear.

"I decided on wearing my (favorite color) t-shirt, my light blue jean shorts, my (black or white) long socks and my (second favorite color) Converse. I was about to leave the home when my best friend called me.

"(Y/N), are you coming??"

"Yeah, my mom said yes."

"Yay! That's great! Especially since Ness is coming too~"

I blushed. "Wait.. r-really??"

She giggled. "Yeah. I kinda invited him last second though..."

I hung up the phone and began freaking out.

Ness and I have been good friends ever since I moved to Onett a few years ago.  Ness has always been really open and kind, and that was one thing I found nice about him as a friend, and eventually, attractive as my crush. He had everything good going for him. He was kind, he was cute, he obeyed his mother, and he was overall a good kid. I never told him how I felt because I'm scared he won't fell the same way. After all, I'm not the only girl who's head over heels for him. There might be another girl he loves instead of me.

After a few seconds of internally freaking out, I pulled myself together and walked downstairs and out the front door, closing it behind me.

I walked to my best friend's house. I knocked on the door and my best friend opened it. "(Y/N)! Come in!"

She grabbed my hand and led me upstairs into the game room, where I immediately recognized most of the people in the room.

 "Hi (Y/N)!"

"Yay, (Y/N)! You came!"

Ness smiled at me and waved. I blushed and waved back.

We started out by going to the arcade and playing around. After an hour at the arcade, we all decided to visit Giant Step as a group and check out the view, where we all had a picnic. After the picnic at Giant Step, we all headed back to my best friend's house to play one more game. 

My best friend grabbed an empty Coca-Cola bottle and had everyone sit in a circle around it.

Oh no. "Alright everyone, let's play a few rounds of spin the bottle!"

After a few rounds of watching friends (willingly or unwillingly) give a random person a kiss, it was my turn to spin.

I spun the bottle and it landed on the kid sitting right in front of me. Ness.

Everyone smirked and giggled at me while Ness and I blushed at the same time. Ness scooted into the center of the circle and smiled at me.

I scooted right in front of him and stared at the floor in embarrassment. At this point my friends were all chanting. "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!"

I looked at Ness, who was actually sort of calm. He smiled apologetically and pressed his lips on mine. I was embarrassed and shocked but after a few seconds I leaned into the kiss.

He pulled away after a few seconds then smiled at me while everyone cheered.

The game continued on, but I decided to go stand outside to process what just happened.

I put my hands on my face and started turning bright red. He kissed me; Ness actually kissed me!

"You okay?"

 I looked up and saw Ness standing next to me.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine..."

He nodded, then smiled apologetically. "Is it bad to say that I've been waiting to do that for a long time?"

"W-what?"

Ness was looking sort of nervous, and his face was turning red. "Well, you see... I really like you (Y/N), and not just as friends."

I looked at him in surprise while he kept talking. "I.. really love you (Y/N). I think you're really nice, and you're really pretty and I-"

I pressed my lips on his. He froze up, then wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.

I pulled away after a few seconds and smiled at him. "I love you too Ness."

He smiled back. "I love you too."

He kissed me again, and this time, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled myself closer.

After a few moments, I felt his tongue touch my lip, but before I could open my mouth to let him in, my best friend walked out. "(Y/N), Ness, when are-" she stopped and smirked. "Ohhhh. So, you do like each other."

I jump out of Ness' embrace and glared at her. "Don't tell anyone about what you just saw."

Ness and my best friend giggled, and I hugged my best friend goodbye.

Ness grabbed my hand and smiled.  "Mind if I walk you home?"

I smiled back. "Not at all."
