“Jason……”

“Ali…….”

“We aren’t moving.” I whispered.

“No really?” He said smirking at me.

“We are stuck! What do we do? What if there’s a fire? What if they can’t get us out!”

“Stop being dramatic. It’s fine.” Jason said fixing his already perfect hair in the reflection on the door.

“Jason stop fixing your hair and do something!”

“Okay, okay chill. Everything is ok!” Jason went over to the panel of buttons and clicked the emergency button.

Jason talked to someone on through the panel. Apparently there was an electrical problem that could be fixed pretty easily. They told us about 15 minutes and we would be up and running.

I slid down to the floor.

Jason sat next to me. “Feel better now?”

I nodded. “Thanks.”

“You know you’re pretty adorable when your freaking out.”

I tried to hide my blush. “You’re pretty annoying when you……well when you do everything.”

He smiled and rolled his eyes. “You know you’re not like other girls here.”

“I know. You say that like it’s a bad thing…..”

“Well it’s not. It’s just most girls are all like ‘OMG ITS JASON! AHH! MARRY ME! Oh my good he is so sexy!’ and you are all like ‘ Jason is bad and annoying and he makes me cry. Grr’ “

I stared at him and burst out laughing. “I never knew you were so good at impressions.”

“Well I try….Anyway. So since you don’t like my amazingly awesome band, what do you like?”

“Well I like lots of things….but my favorite without a doubt is…..Justin Bieber!”

“Oh um….well he has some nice….music…..”

I laughed.

“Im just kidding! Thanks for being nice though!”

“Oh thank god! You scared me for a second! So what do you really like?”

“It’s a secret.”

“Oh gosh more secrets? What is it with all your secrets.”

“That’s a secret too.”

“Well is there anything I can know about you?”

“I like pandas.”

“You like pandas? Really?”

“Yup”

The elevator suddenly moved and the door opened.

“FREE AT LAST!” I screamed crutching out of the elevator.

I turned around looking for Jason and saw him walking away from the art room.

“Where are you going?”

“Art already started….let ditch.”

“We can’t ditch! Come on before someone sees us!”

“Come on Ali! Nobody will catch us! It’s just art. “

I contemplated for a moment. “Fine.”

I don’t know why I said yes, but I did.

Jason dragged me down the hall as fast I could crutch until he got to a door I had never seen before. He opened it I saw 3 flights of stairs.
