Chapter Thirty two

They were singing my song! The song Jason had written for me!! I was about to cry holding Jason’s gaze while dancing with Jenni and Luke when the gates broke and a whole crowd of people came rushing forward. I let out a small scream when I realized I was on the ground for the third time today! This was just not my day! Then all at once I was being yanked up by Jenni.

“Ali! Are you alright?!”

“Yeah I’m good thanks though.”

“Ali we got to go!”

“Go where?!”

“Back to the stage its 2 minutes until midnight!”

“Omg! Run!!”

We both started running pushing through the thousands of people. We finally made it to the stairs when we heard the countdown!

“Ten”

“Nine”

“Eight”

“Seven”

“Six”

“Five”

We ran as fast as we could up the stairs stopping briefly to show the security guard our passes then rushed on stage Jenni broke from my arm and ran straight to jack.

“Three”

I couldn’t find Jason he wasn’t there!

“Two”

I took one more look around when I saw him and I started running he turned around from looking for me and I jump up into his strong very muscular arms.

“One”

Before I could even say one his lips came crashing down on mine and I returned the kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck and intertwined my fingers into his gorgeous, perfect hair he was holding me around the waist and I had my legs around his waist. I didn’t even notice Jenni, Luke, the boys, and Emma watching us, and I really didn’t care. This was my perfect moment and no one was going to ruin it for me. Soon the kiss turned to a more gentle French kiss but it was still magical, we broke apart briefly to catch our breath he leaned his forehead against mine and I just stared into his gorgeous green eyes and smiled. Then I felt his smile against mine and I was again transported to another planet.

I stared into his eyes and watched the confetti fall around us. “I knew you couldn’t resist me.” Jason said with a smirk.

“Oh shut up!” I leaned in and kissed him again. The feeling of his lips moving against mine made me dizzy. I pulled back again and smiled. “Happy New Year Jason.” I whispered.

“Happy New Year Ali” He spun me around once before setting me down still his arms were around my waist. “Now that you’re mine…I don’t think I ever want to let go.” He said pulling me in tighter.

“Then don’t.” I hugged him and felt a million emotions flood through me. Why didn’t I see this before? This felt so right….

I heard a squeal from behind me and turned around. Jenni was bouncing up and down holding Jacks hand. I looked around and saw most of the crowd had cleared out.

I pulled Jenni into a hug. “Can life get any better?” I sad spinning her in a circle and of course I ended up falling on my butt.

I felt strong arms around me but my feet never returned to the ground. I turned to look at a smiling Jason. “I told you I wasn’t going to let go.” He said with a wink.
