The first half of the day dragged on and on. Noah and the other boys helped me to my classes and I just couldn’t take it anymore. When lunch came around I was excited that I might actually have a break from the boys. I made it slowly to the cafeteria with the boys walking behind me. All of a sudden a whole bunch of girls started to notice the boys and came running over. I was pushed and shoved until finally I fell to the ground. I let out a groan of pain.
“Ali are you ok?!” I looked up to see Luke standing over me.
I nodded, but he saw right through me. He helped me up and I saw anger pass through his face. He pushed through the small crowd of girls until he stood right in front of Jason and the others.
“What the hell guys?! You said you would help her! She could have been hurt!”
“Chill dude, we helped her to all her classes so what’s the problem?” Jason snapped back
“Did you no see her just fall to the ground because of all your stupid little fan girls?”
“Luke its ok…I’m fine.”
“Yeah listen to your girlfriend…she’s fine.”
“Whatever. Come on Ali.” We started walking away until I felt someone grab my sleeve.
I turned to see Noah. “I’m sorry Ali I should have helped you. I’m really sorry.”
“It’s ok Noah.” I smiled.
Luke took me to an empty table and went to get us both lunches. I looked around the crowded lunch room and I met eyes with that familiar emerald coloring. I quickly looked away. Why did he have to make things so difficult?
Luke came back with our lunches. “So be honest….How was your day so far?”
“Do you really need to ask?” I said looking away.
“Ali I’m sorry. Did those guys bother you? Because I swear to GOD-“
“No they didn’t really bother me…Besides Jason. I HATE that guy! He is so cocky, rude, annoying and UHG…..”
“Yeah I’m not too fond of him either….what a dick.”
We laughed and ate our lunch. “You know you can go eat with your friends. I can survive by myself for a while.”
“I’m not leaving you on your first day Ali.”
“Thanks….but I think I should just get used to eating alone.”
“Ali don’t say that, I promise you will make some friends.”
“Yeah yeah…whatever.”
The bell rang and I sighed….back to class.
“Do you want me to walk you to class?”
“Yes please!”
Luke walked me to the art room. “If those pretty boys try to mess with you….use the crutches. K?”
I laughed and nodded my head. “Will do.”
I walked into art class to see 5 large long tables. Most of them were full except one. I crutched over and sat at the head of the table. A girl that was sitting a couple of seats away from me smiled. She had dark hair that ended right above her shoulders.
“Hey I’m Jenni. You must be Ali. You’re the lucky girl who gets to have the gaze help her around everywhere right? I am so jealous! Omg they are just so cute and they are in this class too! I wonder where they will sit? Do you think they will sit with us? Are you guys like friends? Omg I about died when I saw them walk through the school. Sexiness was like pouring out of them!”
