Tragic Harmony

Chapter Sixteen

When we got into school the first person I saw was Jason and the boys. I moved to walk around but Jason grabbed the sleeve of my shirt to get me to stop.

“Ali, I am really sorry. And Luke I’m really sorry to you to, I was completely out of line and it was a really stressful day for me, and I’m just really sorry I hurt both of you.” He was looking down at the ground but I could tell he was really sorry.

“It’s ok” I smiled and turned to Luke who was also looking at the ground.

“Were good man, just don’t do it again.” Luke stated firmly

“Luke you can go to class I’ll hang with the boys if it’s still ok with them?” I turned to face them and Noah had a big smile on his face.

“Of course it is!!” Noah said excitedly

“See you at lunch.” Luke called back walking away.

“Soo…should we get to homeroom?” I asked

“Yeah probably.” They all said at the same time

Jason turned to face me again and whispered, “I am really sorry Ali, Really I didn’t mean for you to get upset.. Forgive me?”

Smirking a little I said “Hmm.. Yeah I guess I can forgive you.”

Jason smiled and I smiled right back. And that would be the beginning of our friendship.

The morning passed quickly and I made it to lunch with a smile on my face.

“Ali go get that table over there. We’ll get your lunch.” I crutched over to the table and sat down.

Was it crazy that I’m actually enjoying their company? Who the hell cares?

“Hey Ali! Can I sit with you?” Jenni asked walking over to the table.

“Sure” I smiled. “But I have to warn you….In about 1 one minute some really sexy guys are gonna be sitting here. Can you handle it?”

“Are you kidding? The gaze is sitting with us at lunch!? OMG how do I look?” she started messing with her hair frantically.

I laughed. “You look great.”

“Having a party without me?” Luke said plopping down on the other side of me.

“Yes, sorry Luke but invite only. I think you have to leave.”

“Well then I guess I’m just gonna crash your party.”

“Don’t make me call the cops. Trespassing is illegal you know!”

“You too are adorable.” I looked back at Jenni and blushed.

Before things could get even more awkward i saw the boys walking over to the table. Noah handed me a tray filled with 5 different sandwiches, chips and drinks.

I looked at him puzzled. “Do I look fat or something?”

“No of course not! I just didn’t know what you liked….so I got one of everything.”

I laughed. “Thanks,”

The other boys joined us and we began to eat.

“Hey Ali I’m gonna sit with the team for a while. Is that ok? You can come with me if you want.”

“No I’m ok. Go have fun. Bye Luke.” He smiled and walked off.

Jason then took the spot next to me.

I rolled my eyes.

“Hey I saw that. Don’t role your eyes at me. I am forgiven remember?”

I smiled “Oh yeah…why did I do that again?”

“Maybe you just couldn’t stand to be mad at this gorgeous face.”

“Oh yeah that’s definitely it.”

“So Ali what did he actually say anyway…to make you so upset?” Jack asked a curious look on his face.

“Oh um…it doesn’t really matter….” I said looking down at my tray.

“Well apparently it does matter; if it didn’t matter you wouldn’t have gotten so upset.” Jason said looking at me.

I quickly looked away. “Just drop it.” Noah said glaring at Jason from across the table.

Was something going on between them?

“Sooooo how bout those sandwiches….there pretty damn good.” We all turned to jack bursting out laughing.

The bell rang and it was off to art class.

“I’ll take Ali to the elevator. Meet you guys up there.” Jason said. Noah shot me a look, but I ignored it. If something was going on between them I just want to stay out of it.

I crutched to the elevator and stepped inside. “I call pushing the button!” Jason shouted pushing past me and pressing the #2

“Real mature.”

“Oh I think what you meant to say was real sexy.”

“How bout real annoying.”

“How bout-“ the elevator then came to an abrupt stop.

So Jason is forgiven! YAYYYY...some cute lunch time stuff. Jenni is a really fun character! So now Ali is stuck in the elvator with Jason......Wonder how thats gonna work out. Thanks lovies for reading! Love you! Next chapter is another favorite! ENJOY!
