The morning soon arrived, Russ and Y/n were soundly sleeping together, held in each other's arms. Russ was the first to wake up, his arms softly holding Y/n as he watched the tattoo on her shoulder. He sighed. Holding her close.

"I don't want to let go of you now..." - he mumbled. "Neither do I." - he was startled by the sound of her voice. "Russ... we can be together... can't we?" - she asked him. "If we get married... w-won't that mean she got what she wanted?" - Y/n asked.

"Indeed, but I don't want to think of her. She's the one who brought this up." - he said.

The two lay in bed, Russ was slightly confused by the fact that Sergei and the others had not returned yet. He sat up in his bed. "Russ... what's wrong?" - she asked, he didn't look at her, the sound of footsteps angered him, he knew something was up.

Suddenly the doors were busted by Igor. He huffed from running it seemed. "Igor, what happened?" - Russ asked him, concerned. "It's Sergei and the others! They had run away, they haven't returned yet!" - he said.

Russ looked at her and she looked at him. She didn't understand his worry, but he knew something must have gone wrong. He got out of bed, frantically looking for clothes, worried about Sergei and the others.

Once he was dressed, he looked over at Y/n, a saddened expression on his face, the one she has never seen before. "Russ... What's going on...?" - she asked as he just left the room. He couldn't bear to look at her. He knew something would go wrong now.

Something always seems to go wrong when it has to do with Natalia. Russ fast-walked through the corridors in a hurry.

His breathing was ragged, Igor and some other staff members were behind him. They were ready because with one word he said... "Everyone. The time has come. We have a... DAMN CODE RED!" - The servants had been prepared for this day, knowing that this code red would be used.

Following close behind, Russ could see in the distance a torch. A frown upon his face, he couldn't tell who it was. He saw that it was a person he never thought he'd see again. It was America. A wide evil smirk on his face as they approached them.

Russ gulped, for the first time in his life, he was scared of something. Something that he couldn't control anymore. His father taught him so many things, only for him to be afraid and fail. What was he to do now? He had to do something.

"Come on, get Y/n and move it. We cannot stay here." - he said. Seeing that America was further away from the mansion, they could need half an hour if they aren't spotted. For now, this would be the plan. Russ hated to retreat, but considering he had Y/n to worry about, he had to.

The servants picked up almost everything and anything valuable from the mansion preparing all the spare coaches to make a run for it. They had to run, if America was bringing all his men and his family members, they were as good as gone.

He sighed as he saw the servants had prepared everything. The relief he felt. "Get inside." - he told her. "B-But Russ--" - he cut her off, "I'm going with you. I'm going to be riding my horse, you stay in the coach, and you'll be protected on the inside. Alright? I want to make sure you're safe."

He held her cheeks as he pulled her in for a kiss. They didn't kiss long but when they did, they felt this strange feeling. A warm tingly feeling. "Stay safe inside, Y/n, I'll be with you the whole way." - he said. She nodded and got inside.

"C'mon men! Get ready! We have to leave now!" - he shouted. Everyone seemed calm to some extent. It was quite good too because now they were able to finally get moving and leave the old mansion in hope of finding a new place to stay since they were now being chased.

Russ knew, someone must have spread a rumour, or perhaps someone wanted to take revenge on him, he knew just who it could be, it could have been Ukra, his little brother. He wasn't surprised by the thought.

But what he worried about more were Sergei and the others. Where could they be, did they succeed? Did they get killed? Everything was possible with the way his mother ruled everything. It was oh so obvious. Russ knew what a snake his mother is.

Especially since she was the one behind his father's early death. Russ sighed. Knowing that perhaps, she does know best.

Their caravan moved slowly, making their way through a vast forest. With barely any light, they managed to escape the rebellion. Y/n was inside a carriage, afraid of what would happen now. What had happened to the dogs? She was scared.

Suddenly she heard a soft knock at the window. "Y/n..." - it was Russ' voice. She peeked outside the window. "We'll be making our way to the border. Hopefully, nobody will notice us coming." - he said. "Where are we going?" - she asked.

"We're going to Polandia, That's where my cousin Pol lives. From there we're free to roam the Slavic lands, our final destination should be Romaniana or Croatian Kingdom, hopefully, we won't be stopped."

She nodded. Thinking of those probably wonderful lands. She hoped all would be well. "Don't worry, Y/n, I'll get us out of this mess." - he said. Not realizing that this might just be the last conversation that they will share.

He moved back to the beginning of the caravan, "Master Russ, everything seems to be calm." - said Igor. Russ scoffed quietly to himself. "I don't like the silence, could they be onto us?" - he asked. Igor gulped.

"It might be the case master." - he said. The two males at the beginning of the caravan listened closely, to make sure that they were not being followed. Russ felt it in his gut that something did not feel right. "О, нет..." (Oh, no...)

Suddenly, the sound of guns and tanks filled the forest, Russ ordered that they start running, and they got separated, but without thinking, Russ took off on his own, stopping his horse once he made sure that Y/n's coach was far enough. The sight of his mother made him scoff.

"What are you doing here?" - he glared at her, she only smirked, "You're here to bring him back, Rossiya, sweetie, and trust me, it is more than you could have ever comprehended. And I know what I mean when I say it. It is an honour to be the key to the resurrection of your dearest family members."

Russ sat upon his horse, dumbfounded, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Mother... What are you talking about?" - he scoffed, "Oh dear me, Rossiya, did you think that you had a choice? Ever since you were born you were made to fulfil one destiny." - she smirked.

"There's been a saying that you shall be the key to the glory of our land, that you shall unite us all, oh my, my, my..." - she chuckled darkly. "It is more than just an honour, it is a privilege to be destined to be the key to making our land glorious and the ruler of the whole world." - he gulped.

"However..." - she spoke, "There had always been an issue in the prophecy. You needed a wife which would help you reunite the remaining members." - she smirked at him.

Russ' eyes widened as he realized what she had said, "What do you mean... remaining members?" - he asked, "Oh, believe me, Rossiya, some of your siblings had to be... well... eliminated so to speak." - she said, the venom in her voice made chills run down Russ' spine.

Without too much hesitation, she snapped her fingers, "Get him." - she said and guards grabbed Russ, trying to pull him off of his horse, he struggled, trying to get them to get off of him. "I won't be a part of your damn scheme!" - he shouted.

"It's not your choice Rossiya." - she smirked evilly as she gave her son one last glance. "After all... you know oh so well..."
