Y/n looked at Poland, then at Kira. "Where should we go first?" Y/n asked to start a conversation, hopefully.

"Oh let me lead you, ladies and gentlemen to my favourite place in the world first. A wheat field! It's really shining and golden as pure gold in this time" she said, watching the soldier leaving the entire time with the corner of her eye, which came out as suspicious. As she was sure the soldier was out of the sight she looked back at them and just turned out to start going to the field.

Y/n was slightly suspicious of everything around her at the moment. She wasn't sure if she should be scared or not. She followed Poland along with Kira.

She was still trying to figure out why he had to cut her off like that. Was he planning something or was it just her imagination?

"You both are very lucky for visiting me this time particularly, that meadow of wheat is incredibly shiny and hurts your skin twice as much due to its dryness!" she continued, not wanting any exposure "How is it in your house? Are there any meadows or how does it look like?" she asked, not even turning back at them.

"It's cold, but back at home we have our dogs." Y/n said as she felt Kira place his hand upon Y/n's shoulder. She gave him the side glance as if telling him not to touch her.

"Dogs?" she repeated as her heart started pounding, she never liked dogs.. never since that day "What kind of dogs?"

"Two huskies and two Samoyeds" she smiled as she looked into the distance.

"Interesting.." she said, looking into the distance in front of her as well "I personally am afraid of dogs, especially big ones! They seem like they could get into your throat at any moment if you just turn away for a second.. however I'm glad for you to like them, to enjoy them. What are their names?" she asked.

"They're named Misha and Sergei, and Alexei and Anastasia." she said fondly, "I miss them. They are real nice babies once you meet them." she said

"Nice babies?" she puffed with amusement.

"Well they have never bitten me or attacked me. I don't know what experience you had with dogs... But not all dogs are bad..." she mumbled sadly.

"I.. know, I was just amused by the fact you called them your babies, it was adorable!" she almost forgot herself, for a moment.. short moment she felt this defensive urge in herself for some reason "I've never met a person who would call their pets this way."

"Well, it is because they are all caring and calm as far as I had known the four." she said.

She only nodded as they have entered the field full of wheat. It was indeed beautiful, shiny and golden. A fresh wind blew at them oh so slightly. The birds were chirping and bees flying around, collecting pollen and spreading it across the field. Tranquillity would be a good world to describe the place.

Poland has relaxed a bit more, seeing her second favourite place. She liked the field, but not as much as that one secret place of her. She looked back at both Kira and Y/n, checking if they really were about to kill her as she expected. She always expected death.

Y/n wasn't looking at Poland, but more at the scenery, keeping her hands where she could see them, so she could earn Poland's trust. Russ had once mentioned Poland when they were drunk, and the next morning he explained a little about her.

And when she was younger, she learned about the young lady. Y/n felt hurt, knowing that her fiancé's family was this broken.

Poland never would have thought that the people actually weren't there to murder her, but surprisingly they were still standing on their places. She looked around the field, seeking for anything eye-catching she could talk about, "What do you think about this place? Do you like it" she asked, looking at the ground in front of her.

Y/n finally took a seat in the wheat field, "It's really calming here. I can see why you like this place. It reminds me of Russ when he is as calm as this place is. It is a shame we got separated on our way here." she said, Kira scoffed and looked away, to which Y/n frowned and gave him a side glance, she really didn't like him.

"I haven't seen Russ in ages.. yet again I've seen him only once, shortly after his father had died... he seemed sad..." Poland sat on the ground as well, looking at Kira with curiosity, "You aren't going to sit down? Standing must be pretty tiring... even for a man like you." she rolled her eyes playfully.

Kira huffed, "I am here to protect master Russ' wife. I cannot rest until she is safe." he said, to which Y/n frowned, "Kira, sit down." she scoffed, waiting for him to finally take a seat, but instead, he climbed a tree to be able to see around them better.

Y/n sighed, "I'm sorry for his behaviour, he's just overprotective." she said, trying not to sound too suspicious.

,,Showing off skills big boy, are we" Poland thought as she looked up at Kira tediously, she did expect him to know such things... oh but what an envy was burning inside her chest, seeing him doing it freely. With no soldiers to worry about, with no people to stare at her with disgust as if she were a whore-ish acrobat.

"Woah..." she has suddenly changed her expression to more excited and enlivened, "I wish I could do that too!"

Y/n smiled, "Well, once Russ and I meet up again, I'm sure we could do that together..." she mumbled the last part and looked at the ground sadly. Thinking back to when Russ didn't allow her to go outside or forced her to go with him, what she wouldn't give to turn back time and be with Russ again.

"I wish I could do that too.." she mumbled that, trying to still sound cheerful, "But I don't think Uncle Reich would like that, he doesn't approve me to meet with someone he feels is a danger to me. And Russ... he doesn't like him, let's say."

"I'm aware... I haven't met him yet, but my best guess is that he isn't so nice." she said, "Well, how about this! We can surely spend some time together and enjoy the lovely weather before I return to Russ, he'll need help most probably. And besides, nobody has to know that you came to help me." she whispered the last part, so that Kira couldn't hear her.

"You think we could?" her eyes shone in excitement "It would be.. like a dream come true, thank you" she smiled to her.

Poland knew whatever she would do – wouldn't interest the German, since he was sure as the day is long that Poland's fighting spirit has been dead for long years now. So even if she would go away but come back anyway, nothing that bad would happen to her... maybe just...

A couple of whips.

She adjusted the sleeves of her dress.

"We would have to get away from the soldiers..." she mumbled to her, to which she only glanced over to Kira, to see he was looking everywhere around but at the two of them below. "If you think you know how to fight, I'd like to learn too, I'll need it. But I'll explain everything a bit later, if you'll allow me to." she said.

Poland nodded at her words, although the very imply of her knowing how to fight that Y/n threw at her made her suspicious. She looked at Kira as well, "Who is he?" she asked, whispering, so the man wouldn't hear them.

"He's supposedly someone Russ hired to look over me, but I don't think he's here to just look, I think there's more to what he wants from me." she said, "I think he wants to take Russ' place as my fiancé, but I am not one hundred per cent sure." she mumbled quietly to Poland.
