... She walked back to the fire, slowly putting dirt over it to put it out. A soft sigh escaped her lips, "He seemed... So hurt, I cannot even begin to explain what this felt like..." She mumbled to herself. "What's he done now?" A voice rose, Y/n looked around her, and yet she couldn't see anyone.

"Who's there?" She asked, to which the voice spoke up again, "It's me..."

Y/n turned around to see a woman standing there, her ears and tail visible, "Who are you?" Y/n asked, to which the woman sighed, "Misha. Your loyal friend, Mistress Y/n," Y/n looked at the dog, with her eyes widened.

"Wait... you can talk?" She asked as she looked into the darkness, and out of the darkness walked... "Wait... What?"

Misha smirked, "What? Didn't expect your pup to be a werewolf?" Misha chuckled, to which Y/n walked forward, holding her face in her hands, "Mistress, I'm real, ok?" She said, "Snap out of it

Misha smirked, "What? Didn't expect your pup to be a werewolf?" Misha chuckled, to which Y/n walked forward, holding her face in her hands, "Mistress, I'm real, ok?" She said, "Snap out of it."

Y/n looked at Misha, and studied her features, "I've heard of your kind, but never saw one in person, let alone not knowingly treated you like--" Y/n's eyes widened, "Oh dear! Oh, no!" She began to panic.

"Y/n calm down!"  She shouted at the young woman, "It's ok. You didn't know. That was the whole point. The rule is that the pure may be my masters. Your heart was pure, hence all four of us allowed you to become our mistress, along with--" Y/n suddenly interrupted, "Wait! Does that mean... Wait, wait, hold on! Russ is a demon... He's not pure..."

Misha rolled her eyes, "He's not biblically accurately pure, but he has a pure heart. Not even half of the blanks and non-countries come close to how pure he is."

Y/n frowned, "But... Misha, how does that make sense?" Misha groaned, "You're a smart person, you can figure it out, I know that. So just... Allow yourself to think clearly. Russ is not just a demon."

Y/n frowned, "He's a Countryhuman, I know."

Misha rolled her eyes, "Well obviously, as he wouldn't be a full-on demon. Have you not been taught about what you are?" She asked, to which Y/n frowned, "I am a blank?" She asked. Misha raised a brow, "Do you know the definition of your kind? What you're called?"

Y/n looked at Misha with a glint of concern, "Why do you know so much about... The three dominant species?" She asked.

"So... That's what they call you now," Misha scoffed, looking away, ever so slightly upset, "I didn't think that Blanks are a dominant species now. Considering how and under what circumstances you are allowed to live."

Y/n glared at the creature, getting upset, "So, that's how it is? You get some damn privileges, and you're a dominant species?"

Y/n frowned, "We are one of the dominant species for many reasons..." Suddenly, Y/n's tone went down as she glared at Misha. "...born without a country affiliation," she spoke, "You know... Blanks are considered to be in a state of limbo," she snorted.
