In a world where magic and science intertwined, there lived two bird-human hybrids with white hair and blue eyes. They were siblings, born from the union of a human and a dove. Their mother was a renowned scientist who dedicated her life to the study of the inter-species gene mutation, and their father was a skilled craftsman who specialized in creating mechanical wings that allowed humans to fly.
The siblings, named Aria and Leo, inherited the best traits of both their parents. They had the soft, gentle features of a dove, combined with the agility and sharp senses of a human. Their hair was as white as freshly fallen snow, and their eyes shimmered like the deep blue sea.
Aria and Leo's most prominent feature, however, was their wings. The wingspan of each of them was nearly twice the size of their body. The feathers that covered their wings were a pristine white, each feather perfectly aligned, and when they spread their wings, they resembled a cloud of snowflakes in the sky.
The siblings lived in a vast mansion on the outskirts of the city, surrounded by a lush garden filled with exotic plants and a small pond where they liked to swim. They were homeschooled by their mother and learned about the world through books and experiments in their mother's laboratory. They rarely ventured outside, as they knew they looked different from other humans, and they were afraid of being ostracized.
Despite their isolation, Aria and Leo were happy children who loved to play and explore. They would often chase each other around the garden, singing songs in a language only they understood. They also enjoyed tinkering with their father's mechanical wings, hoping to one day create a pair that would allow them to fly even higher.
As they grew older, Aria and Leo became more aware of their differences from other humans, and their fear of being rejected intensified. But no matter how much they tried to hide their wings or change their appearance, they could not escape who they were.
One day, while Aria and Leo were playing in the garden, they saw a group of children walking by. The children stopped and stared at them, pointing and whispering to each other. Aria and Leo froze, their hearts racing with fear.
But to their surprise, one of the children, a little girl with curly hair, walked towards them and smiled. "Hi, I'm Sophie. Can I play with you?" she said.
Aria and Leo were hesitant at first, but Sophie's kindness and curiosity soon won them over. They spent the afternoon playing together, teaching each other songs and stories, and flying around the garden with their wings spread wide.
From that day on, Aria and Leo no longer felt alone. They had found a friend who accepted them for who they were, wings and all. And even though they knew they were different, they also knew that their uniqueness was something to be proud of...
... However, happiness did not last long, as soon came a dark cloud looming over their world. In fear, their mother placed them in two meteors, sending them far away from their home....
Aria woke up screaming her lungs off, fear taking over her body as she cried. Startling her brother, Leo, as well. "Aria! Are you alright?"
Aria's sobs echoed through the room as Leo held her tightly, trying to soothe her fear. Her body shook with each sob, tears streaming down her face. Leo could feel her heart racing against his chest, her breath coming in short gasps. He knew that she had been having nightmares for a while now, but he had never seen her so scared.
As Leo held his sister, he noticed the door creak open. A woman, a complete stranger to them, entered the room. She was tall and slender, with dark hair tied in a ponytail. She wore a simple dress and a concerned look on her face as she approached the siblings.
