Demelza didn't stop until she got to Nampara. Ross had tried to talk to her, but she ignored him completely. She went into the kitchen to help finish the meal for supper when Drake came in yelling, Demelza comes quick and see the new colt. It just was born, and it is already standing. Melza and Maggy smiled at the young boy. They both knew this boy was going to be a man they all would be proud of brave, strong, loyal, and caring for all men. Drake said, "what should we name him?" "You need to ask Uncle Joshua," Demelza said. Ross said, "nonsense name him Father won't mind," he continued to unsaddle Darkie and comp him down. Drake said, "how about booger." Demelza looked horrified you can't name him that?" "Why not," said Drake, "it is what ran out of his snout when he was born?" Demelza said, "I think it should be Uranus." Drake said, "what does it mean?" Demelza explained I read somewhere that it was derived from Latin meaning the heavens. Since he is dark as night and the start of his white star on his head. We name him Uranus." Drake said, "I like it."

It was decided that Uranus was the new colts' name. Joshua walked out of his bedroom followed by Mary, when he saw Demelza he hung his head. Mary looked at her coldly and smirked. Demelza wanted to get this out in the open. "Mary, have I done something to you." Mary responded, "No Mistress I was just having a bit of unpleasantness between you and me." Demelza responded, "would that be Alyse in the cave practicing spells." Joshua looked at Mary and said, "you did not tell me she was doing that," he looked at Demelza, "what cave?" Demelza looked at him innocently, "why the Holy Cave Uncle she and Elizabeth were in there trying to make a potion that would drive my husband to Elizabeth's arms." Mary seethed, "that is not true. Joshua my daughter would never practice dark magic. Demelza said, "Father if you do not believe me ask your son, he heard what they said." Ross said, "what is this?" Demelza said, "that I was lying that Alyse and Elizabeth were not I the Holy Well to make a potion that would take you to Elizabeth." Ross said, "first of all Demelza there is no such thing as magic. Father both Alyse and Elizabeth were in the Holy Well cave and Alyse did say she was making a potion that would inspire me to want Elizabeth. I do not remember more than that.

Joshua stood silently thinking finally he said, "Demelza since Mary came to me with a complaint against you and I find it now ill-informed and malicious on her side. I am leaving it for you to decide if she should still be employed in this household. I will not allow anyone to speak about my daughter-in-law that way." Mary balked, "what about all that we have done together these past months." Joshua laughed, "what about them? I had an itch that I needed to be scratched, and you did that for me as I did it for you. If you took that to mean I would take your word and feelings over my family, then you are delusional." Demelza said, "Joshua and Ross why don't you go out with the boys to check on the new colt?" Demelza knew Mary had something to do with Mary's evil and needed Melza and Maggie's help. "I will take Mary into the kitchen and speak to Melza and Maggy to see what they have seen Mary doing." The men left and Mary and Demelza walked into the kitchen.

Mary said, "I know what you two are, you are witches?" Maggie said, "witches, Melza is more powerful than me she is the guardian of the east." Melza said, "the white fairy witch guardian of the east." Maggie said I am just a high-ranking fairy. You however are evil, and your powers will be extracted as your daughters were." Mary laughed, "you to think you can cleanse me of my power? You are nothing but two dried-up prunes. As if I believed for one minute you are the guardian of water and the east." Maggy said I guess she didn't see the storm that followed Elizabeth the past couple of weeks. Mary turned her head to Melza that was you?" Melza said, "with the help of my great-granddaughter's power." Mary said, "who is your great-granddaughter." Melza said, "you will find out now but never remember it."

Melza reached for Demelza's hand, and Maggy got on the other side. Mary said, "no it can't be she is a miner brat. I am strong, Loyal, and true I will not let your evil reside here. The fairies calling this home deserve to have peace and tranquility. A good bright place to live not the darkness of evil can live here. Mary said I will not submit my power. Melza said you do not have to. The Three women started to chant.
