Previously...

With the Black Wisdom Cube in both boys' hands, the Azur Lane Pacific Fleet, headed by Commander Jason Davis, Jr., with assistance by Lieutenant Commander Hernandez Ray-Cruz, moves on to the next stages of their plans. The retrieval of IJN Amagi.

Defense of the island of Attu, part of Alaska, directed most of Davis attention, while a surprise attack upon the Pearl Harbor base was repelled by Ray. Both boys unlocked a bit of their power and received new allies in the form of defecting Sakura Empire kansen. The six defectors, alongside Z23, formed the Mermaids, an adjacent task force bent on protecting the Azur Lane in their endeavors.

Conflict arose soon after, when the British Royalty made a surprise visit and an ambush. Ray, alongside Langley, developed the SP round, a specialized penetrative bullet that can pierce the bodies of Sirens. News quickly spread and, after a quick romantic session with both Belfast and Admiral Hirata Sakaguchi (not on the same night, mind you), the Azur Lane prepared itself for an invasion, landing squarely at Midway.

Meanwhile, the re:VIVE Project proved fruitful, as the FFNF Saint Louis rose up, Amagi soon after her. At about the same time, the Orochi project was completed ahead of schedule, prompting the Japanese to attack.

As the Battle of Midway dawned, Lieutenant McBride arrived with supplies upon the Constitution, giving the Allies more support on protecting the atoll. The war drums roared as three factions (the Azur Lane with help of the Mermaids, the Crimson Axis, and the Sirens) all collided at Midway.

The revival of Amagi shook the CV sister of hers, Akagi, to the bone, confirming her decision to go with the Azur. Her Commander, Yosuke Yuuki, was not pleased, but he had a larger target to crumble: Davis.

Davis fought as hard as he can and succeeded in killing the Orochi avatar, which was an Amagi look-alike. Forced teleportation by Observer Alpha sent the two of them alongside Tester Beta, Purifier (who Davis killed not long ago), and Yuuki on board the Constitution. After a long fight, both Alpha and Davis touched a BWC, with another one sitting on the deck of the ship with some money.

Davis, alongside Alpha, were thusly trapped in some odd pocket dimension. Soon meeting with Davis' ancestor, Howell, the three fused together (unwillingly, might I add) when everything went white.

Back in time, Heather, who just lost Howell before her eyes, lost her shit.

How will she react? What happened on the deck of the Constitution? Is Jason still alive?

All this and more on the next chapter of 'Return of Davis'.

Let the Third Part begin tomorrow.
