Mike and Will listened as El went on about how exciting and fun prom was going to be as the three walked to school.

"..and Dustin said if we win prom king and prom queen, or if only one of us wins, that we'll go out to celebrate after, and then Max suggested we go to that diner we went to with our band." El rambled. Mike and Will just nodded as she talked.

"What's the diner called?" Mike asked.

"Cindy's." El started, "By the way... I have a question for you two.." The two stopped and looked at each other, then at El who was now turned around and looking at them.

"..Yes?" Will asked. He was already pretty sure he knew what the question was. El looked at Mike, before whispering something in his ear.

"Does he know that you're..?" She asked. Mike nodded.

"Yeah, he does." Mike replied. El nodded as she looked at the two.

"Okay.. so is there something going on between you two?" She asked with a knowing smile. Mike and Will looked at each other.

"Um.." Will started before Mike interrupted.

"Yes.. we're together." Mike said quietly. El smiled widely.

"Though we didn't start dating til yesterday so it's kind of new-" Will started.

"Though we have kissed before-" Mike added.

"Wait you two have kissed before? And you didn't tell me?" El asked.

"Well.. it just started on Friday, and I was going to tell you.. but I kept getting scared." Mike replied.

"I'm fine with it, just shocked." El responded with a light smile, "So..?"

"So yes.. there's something going on between us." Will replied.

"That's so cool!" She said as she hugged the both of them. They smiled as they hugged her back. "Have you told anyone else?" El asked as she pulled away.

"Well, no.. but we're pretty sure Darren knows." Mike replied.

"Yeah.. he kind of walked in on us making out." Will responded. El laughed a bit as she locked arms with the two boys, continuing their walk.

"Seriously? When?" She asked.

"At the party." Mike replied. El laughed more.

"Wow.. a lot happened at that party then." El responded.

"Guess you could say that." Will said. They all laughed before continuing to walk to school.

El let go of Will and Mike as they entered the building, turning to them with a smile.

"I'm gonna head to class." El said.

"Wait.. um... if you see Lucas could you let him know that I want to talk to him?" Mike asked. El nodded.

"Sure... I need to talk to him anyway." El replied. Mike nodded. "Anyways, good luck!" She said to the two before heading down the hall. Mike and Will headed to Mike's locker.

"Today is gonna be awkward at lunch." Mike said.

"Yeah.. unless Max and Lucas made up.. hopefully they did." Will responded. Mike nodded as someone suddenly came up to them.

"I've been looking for you guys." Darren said suddenly as he walked up to the two. Mike and Will turned to him.

"Yeah, we just got here.." Will started awkwardly, "We were.. actually just about to look for you."

"Yeah.. we need to talk." Mike added. Darren nodded.

"Definitely." He said. Mike closed his locker before the three boys went into the bathroom, making sure no one was in there before Darren spoke. "So.. what's up with you two?" Mike looked at Will before looking at Darren.
