"That was so sad." El said as the credits rolled, tears pouring down her face. Max smiled a bit.

"I warned you." She responded. El sighed with a smile before wiping her tears. She looked at the clock, her eyes widening.

"It's already eleven?" She asked in shock.

"Ironic." Max replied. El looked at her.

"Funny." El started. They both laughed a bit before El stood up. "I need to head home." Max stood up as well, grabbing her arm.

"Wait.." Max said. El looked at her. waiting for her to finish what she was saying. Max sighed. "I'll drive you there." El nodded as they began to leave Max's house before getting into her car. They sang along to music on the ride there. laughing and just enjoying every moment they were spending with each other. After a few minutes, they arrived at her house. El's face scrunched up in confusion as they pulled up.

"That's weird... it's completely dark." El started, "Usually Will just watches TV when I'm not home." Max looked at her.

"Maybe he's asleep?" Max asked. El sighed.

"Yeah.. yeah you're probably right." El replied. She sat there for a second before looking at Max again. "Can you come in with me?"

"Why?" Max asked with a confused look. El looked down a bit, embarrassment filling her.

"I'm... afraid of the dark." El mumbled. Max smiled at her fondly.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you." Max said as she opened her door. El smiled before following. El grabbed Max's hand as they neared the door before pulling her house key out of her pocket. She unlocked the door before just standing there. Max looked at her, giving her a confused look.

"You go first." El responded. Max smiled before nodding. She made her way inside as El followed closely behind her. They made their way to the light switch, turning it on. El sighed in relief.

"You're that scared of the dark?" Max asked.

"It's stupid... I know." El replied.

"No, no, it's not stupid.. just cute." Max responded. El's face turned a shade of pink before she quickly let go of Max's hand.

"I'm gonna check on Will." El said. Max nodded a bit before she watched El head upstairs. El made her way through the hall, stopping in front of Will's door. It was cracked open a bit, which was unusual. El furrowed her eyebrows as she opened the door. He wasn't there. El felt herself start to panic. She stood there for a few seconds before rushing downstairs. "He's not here. Max, he's not here." Max's eyes widened, while El's were filled with fear. Max tried to think of something to calm her down.

"Maybe.. he stayed over at Mike's?" Max asked. This didn't calm her down.

"They never stay over at Mike's anymore.. his parents aren't very.. shit." El started, begging to pace. "What if something bad happened to him? What if... God this is bad." Max walked up to El, putting her hands on her shoulders.

"Okay, calm down." Max said.

"I can't calm down. What if something happened to him? Or even them?" El asked. Max sighed.

"Listen, let's try to call the others... maybe they know." Max started, "That sound good?" El nodded, her breathing slowing down.

"Okay. Yeah, yeah you're right." El said. Max nodded before walking to the phone.

"When do your parents get home?" Max asked.

"Don't know." El replied. Max nodded as she began to dial Lucas's number. No one picked up.
